The first character I unlocked in this game was Sonic. Little Mac, Luigi and Dr. Mario were 3 characters that gave me a bit of trouble. Also, the way you did the Dr. Mario fight, I assume, is a call-back to Melee?

Ok everyone in the comments section. If you're wondering how to unlock everyone in Smash Ultimate, there are 3 ways. You can either go into World Of Light, Classic Mode, or Smash battles. If you're playing World Of Light, you'll be playing for 20 to 60 hours. I'd recommend either Classic Mode or Smash battles.

Mii Fighters aren't really unlockable since they don't have a challenger approaching battle so they would technically be default characters

Fun fact, Bowser is the only villain in Galeem's control. All the others are in the Dark Realm (Dark Samus is in the final battle area, but is still under Darkhon's control)

How can you get meta knight? I tried a lot of times and no meta knight
