Super Smash Bros. Ultimate amiibo + me Exhibition 2023 - Nintendo Live 2023 

I love amiibo. I hope Nintendo keeps doing things like this because they're such cool tech and collectibles and I hate how it almost seems like an afterthought at this point to most.

The amiibos are still phenomenal to this day and I still have my Mario one ever since 2014

I love how mario man put it up to chance with his DeeDeeDee amiibo towards the end.

I would love to see the world’s best smash players that aren’t bad people do doubles with their Amiibo versus their opponent that adds so much chaos

I haven’t used my amiibo in a while, this makes me want to. I only really use my Min Min and King K. Rool amiibos these days, and they’re probably some of my favorite ones

Ngl, felt like the key difference was Praktise was more fundamentally skilled and had better synergy with Kazuya who was trained immaculately to throw out complex inputs. Marioman seemed a bit reliant on his absurdly strong Dedede and didnt play on the strengths of his Piranha Plant as a support. If he used those B moves to whittle down / blind with poison, disrupt with Neutral B, snipe with Down B from a safe distance, or just played disruptor to Dededes massive offense, he could have cleaned up house. I think he has loads of potential with that teamup! Still, great job to all players!

I remember back when Amiibo were a huge selling point/functionality for games - what with the fact that they were essentially exponential DLC (works across any games that have Amiibo functions)... but people kept bashing and bashing on them, hating every time the Amiibo had some actual legit functionality added to the game, constantly shouting about Amiibo shortages (even though they were constantly replenished - to the point that stores started to have excess), attacking anyone that said anything positive about them... And look where we are. Amiibo almost feel like they're on their way out with very little Amiibo support these days, and when there is, it's often a shortcut function of an already in-game feature (such as getting random items sooner)... There's almost no point to having them anymore other than the fact that they look cool (glorified statues that do nothing). And what did the haters gain for their victory? ... expensive DLC and season passes... hoooooraaaaayyy.............. Still got my massive collection of amiibo from back when they first released (back when there were actual shortages - but I still got all of them WITHOUT having to deal with scalpers)... And back then? These things were an amazing investment - infinite use DLC that worked across dozens of titles. Now, they just gather dust. Well... at least I can still use most of them for Smash and have amazing tournaments with them.

It would be great if Nintendo also added the Zelda HD games (Twilight Princess and Wind Waker) and the 3ds games (Ocarina of Time and Majora's Mask) on the Nintendo Switch Console, like they did with Miitopia (3ds), Super Mario 3D Stars (N64, Gamecube and Wii), and some games of Pokemon.

They made it only 13 or under because they were afraid of the big boys and girls bringing out their raid boss amiibo if they made it an all-ages tourney. Nintendo would have quivered in fear at the sight of my Sephiroth Raid Boss in action and ban me from entry if I tried to go there.

Hi, this isn't a comment about this video, I just wanted to make sure that you saw it, but anyways, I'm very exited for Super Mario Wonder and think it looks like a lot of fun, but I think that theres still one thing it needs: a level designer! I mean, think about what people could make with all of those gizmos and gadgets in the game! It doesn't have to be in the main game and it doesn't have to be immediately after its release, I just wanted to share my idea for the game. Also Pokemon Cafe could have one too for the same reasons
