For all the people that haven´t followed to much the Kirby games: Marx started the fight between the Sun and Moon, after this, he said Kirby to aks for a wish to a clockstar called Nova, but when Kirby summoned it, Marx betrays him and wishes to rule Popstar and reveal his true form. Kirby defeats him but in Kirby Star Allies Marx returns, apparently he survived and sensed the darkness of Void Termina, so he is now helping Kirby

Smash Bros Fans: WHAT THE HELL IS THAT THING!!! Kirby Fans: Oh nice, Marx is a boss in Smash Ultimate. It's a shame that I know each and every one of his moves including his soul form, so he should be easy to- HE USING A NEW MOVE!
Honestly, Marx is my favorite boss in the game, because the devs faithfully recreated his old attacks while throwing some FREAKY new ones into the mix.
he was probably the easiest boss for smash sakurai has ever done. seriously. smash is literally a kirby game wearing the skin of a nintendo crossover fighter. and that simple fact shines nowhere better than with marx being so easily recognizable. that said theres still a new attack or two thrown in.... which i can only describe as "eye scream."
The only way that would work is if the Star Allies player couldn't read, the first thing it says is "a final boss here to help? Unbelievable" so no, you're making that up

He doesn't need to be playable, Super Star has enough representation with literally nothing for any non-Sakurai Kirby game, I genuinely believe no new Kirby character would be better than Marx

I can’t believe my boi Marx made it into smash bros ultimate, AS A BOSS! Also, when Marx is doing his black hole move, IT SOUNDS LIKE HE’S SNAPPING HIS NECK IN ORDER TO TRY AND KILL KIRBY!!!!!!!! ALSO (again) THE BLOOD CURDLING SCREAM RETURNS!!!
shark warrior there’s a lot of characters that deserve to be smash more than Waluigi, at least Marx is the best boss in the game, which can actually help him become an actual fighter in the next/ next 2 smash, like how Ridley does
Marx will always be the best boss, in my opinion. His movesets are just like those in the Kirby games (well, Sakurai DID create Smash...), and it fits perfectly with Smash.
In world of light marx and other bosses make it in so you can play as any fighter against them and you get their spirit including Marx and he can be enchanted to get his true form from the boss battle
So smash ultimate is actually a Kirby game!??! And all the other playable Nintendo characters are actually Kirby’s all stars!!!? This should count as a Kirby game!
He's so creepy to players to show Marx's total insanity. You got your black hole, your cutters, your ice bomb, your cacti, your giant laser, homing black spheres, your branching vein things, your bug-eye lasers... wait those three aren't in the original fight!
Holy hell when you defeat Marx his wings literally get torn apart from his body. But the scream isn’t that intimidating. They should’ve put in some really creepy blood curdling scream and use that lmao
@@thatidioticcommenter5071 Oh, well I was just pointing out that that said blood curdling scream has already been in a Kirby game. So I don't think they'd have a problem putting it into the more mature (age wise) Super smash bros.
Star Allies is canon to the Kirby series though, Smash is not. Smash Bros has been confirmed and said time and again to be non canon, and replicated by toys. This Marx is nothing but a copy that takes inspiration from the original.
(in this game) bosses are probably the pinnacle of the non playable characters due to how much care actually went into them, also that most provide an intense battle that you can remember.
I got the game and Kirby was my first classic fight. I thought it would be master hand like always but then when baby boy marx showed up I was confused. When it got darker and zoomed in shit got real and I killed my friend
Tip: When Marx teleports from the left side of the screen to the right very, *very* quickly, it usually means he’s about to use his black hole. Also, it seems that after he completely leaves the screen, wether it’s from his Laser Attack or his Seed Attack, he comes back on with the Uppercut Attack.
Im way too emotionally attached to villain characters. I wasnt paying attention for a sec and I look back, Marx is laying face-first on the ground and his wings are detached and laying on the ground as well, and I may or may not have almost screamed in sadness... but Marx’s giggles/laughs were adorable and Im glad I watched him getting kicked and/or slapped in the face multiple times to hear them.
MY first reaction to Marx in the World of Light campaign. Me: "Where's the boss?" *Sees Marx* "Oh hey it's Marx" *Realization kicks in* "OH GOD IT'S MARX!"
I always loved how identical his boss fight is to the original Kirby Super Star. When you're playing as Kirby, some of the same strategies still work and it felt really satisfying and fun to fight him the first time.
While I’m happy Marx is in Smash I really wished he was a playable character. If you’ve seen Kirby Star Allies you would know that his play style could work (that black hole as his final smash)
No he shouldn't his playstyle wouldn't work at all cause most of his attacks are mostly overpowered and usually cover Air & Even ground too well. He Mostly just throws Bombs & Deadly projectiles. His Playstyle doesn't fit smash. He is Fine as a Boss.

Fusion Afterburner No this is just Marx's true form. Marx soul looks different, he has a different color scheme, spikey everything, and looks more like satan fused with him. Search up his soul form.
@@Prox1matic Marx Soul gold wings are pink, he has a bigger tongue and sharper fangs, a darker purple tint, and some sort of necklace in the center of his shoes. Also I think his hat is spiky and his shoes are pointy.
Man, I can't believe it's already been two years since this very video's thumbnail apparead in my recommended and spoiled this really cool fight that they took care to not talk about before launch. I literally got the game an hour before it came out and I *still* got spoiled by this video.
GOD that battle intro, and the entire fight itself, creeped me the fuck out. Reminded me how creepy Kirby bosses are. PRAYING they make him a DLC Fighter! It’s def possible, since Ganon and Bowser are bosses in this game too! He even has a bit of an intro like they do!
