Virgin Mii Costume vs. Chad Real Playable Character

I feel ya! I still feel robbed, especially when Dante happened at the same time.

To me, getting Mii'd is the first step to getting in Smash. Remember, the Inkling started with a Mii costume, then Ultimate is announced, and what is one the character trailers... Inkling, so I feel Shante might have a chance of getting into the next Smash game, but only time will truly tell if it happens. Shante dances into Smash!!!

@@Vile-MKIIK Rool also had a costume for Smash, trophy too. Spirits are the new trophies so Shantae shares that similarity

@@rogercameron6912 Usually when a character becomes a Mii costume, it means Sakurai respects the character, but is unable to make a balanced moveset for the character. For example Lloyd from Tales of Symphonia was highly requested by Japanese fans, but he became a mii costume TWICE. The good news is that when ever a character can't be in Smash, I compare that characters's gameplay function to a character in Smash, to compensate. I compare Shantae to Banjo kazooie, because their western platformers with transformations. While Shantae Pirate's Curse doesn't have transformations, her pistol reminds me of Banjo's Breegul Blaster, and her Pirate hat that lets her float reminds me of Kazooie's feathery flap.

There are several versions, many of which leave Zelda untouched.

It should be a simple drag and drop. You may be running into file conflicts; check your conflicts.json file. I recommend the single slot versions on the google drive if you can't resolve them.

@@Messypromods couldn't get it to work so I switched to using single slots and it's awesome! On of my most requested smash characters is now an awesome mod!

Sakurai can't even do this. He doesn't have what it takes to make Shantae a REAL fighter! I bet Sakurai can't prove me wrong (bad attempt at reverse psychology)

@@chaudspieler Matt Bozon confirmed that Legend of Zelda Castlevania and Mega man were a big inspirations for Shantae. So it makes it hard for Sakurai to come up with a moveset that stands out from the others.

@@Messypromods Well I still enjoyed it as I watched, I'm a fan of the character and you do good work. It's just a very meandering trailer in how the mod's content is displayed.
