@@jamesmcgrath1342 actually I'm just looking at it, saw some videos..seems like a copy of sensible soccer with better graphics. Maybe I'll buy that too haha
I'm still waiting for a vr football game that uses the normal FIFA/Pes controls with a controller. Its like Pes or FIFA pro camera mode in 1st person, but the only difference is you can physically turn your head to see the players around you and where to turn and pass, rather than like the current camera where it just aims you at goal and you can't actually see around you unless looking at map blip. So imagine a kind of 1st person shooter, right stick turn, left move and head to just quick glance around and feel a real experience of football without the having to swing your arms to move and shoot with move controllers like football nation. I just want simple controls with a control. If they do that one day and can get it like Pes, Pes did a Wii version years ago but I didn't like the controls and flicking wrist, aiming, shooting. But this 1st person vr, I'd be well happy. Please someone make it happen. 😷👍
This looks like a great game. Nice review too, thank you!. I will pick this up on the Switch for sure. Do you know how many Teams/Avatars you can create please?
Are there any season or lifetime STATS, win/loss records, total goals scored, etc? The camera looks great. I with someone would make an American NFL Football game with this camera style.
Looks like from your clips they could do with making the pitch a touch smaller too perhaps? Looks great though and I'll be picking it up on the switch for sure.
It looks really great, is there a demo? My favourite game of all time (more for the memories, play ability and couch co-op) was "Super Soccer" on the SNES. This has some real similarities it seems. Switch definitely has a market for a good arcade football game. It is criminal that Super Soccer is on Nintendo Switch Online but they don't have matchmaking - makes it pointless for me. I got too good against the AI that there is no challenge. I fear this game would be the same from what the review said. Once you know the flaws in AI games get boring whereas humans are unpredictable and evolve. Switch needs to get a port or a new Mario Smash Strikers too - a bigger better version of the GameCube game. I am 36 so gaming with people when have a young family is unlikely...online do-able but I need a real good single player with difficulty settings.
Only one retro style indie game still available on console aswell, S.W.O.S streets ahead of this game. Xbox 360 on Microsoft store roughly same price £7.98.
Oh yeah I love this game for what it is but I'll speak for a couple of minutes about how it could be more like the simulation games we already have & list these ways!!?
Spoony, have you tried out Active Soccer 2Dx..bought it today, it's almost identical to sensible soccer but refined with better graphics, more camera options😁 Having so much fun..didn't know it was that good. Better AI aswell than super blast soccer which I also have.
@@SpoonyPizzas yeah try it out, it's on ps4. Saw it when I bought super soccer blast first..came out 2016. I've had already 4-5 penalties, actually 2 in a row today haha seeing some injuries and red cards.
Mate I’d buy it but as you say the fact it’s a bit easy is putting me off. The main bug bear though it really cry’s for online play, this would be cracking online. I will buy it when the steam sales start in couple weeks to support the devs as you say 👍
I’m enjoying the game but the big issue for me is player switching on defence. The game seems to struggle at times to give you control of the player closest to the ball.
Spoony Pizzas yeah it works, it just doesn’t seem to give you control of the player in the best position all the time. I’ve also noticed times when I tackle and knock the ball away and it sometimes auto switches user control to another player. It’s not a huge issue but it’s noticeable at times.
@@SpoonyPizzas yeah no way Pes is superb except for presentation and commentary by Soccer Blast is pushing Fifa a bit😉 now if they could just combine the gameplay of pes with the presentation and graphics ...oh and commentary of fifa we would have the ultimate footie game.
This game is terrible. Don’t believe the paid review. I just bought this game as I loved both the tennis and volleyball games from this company. Unfortunately...this game is shit. What makes it bad is that it tries to be sim and arcade at the same time and it fails. Either be one of the two..if they went the arcade route then this game would have most likely would have been awesome. Mist indie sim soccer games come off as boring and not that great so the least they can do is try and go for the arcade Mario type soccer game that’s fast and fun. There’s also no speed to this one as well. It’s like they gave up on this game while developing it and didn’t reach their goal to make it as fun as they envisioned. Stick with soccer and volleyball if you want to play their much better games because they went for a more arcade approach and it worked. This game tried to balance that and it fucked up and made it not fun. Even fifa is more fun and it’s a sim arcade feel..
This isn't a paid review (I'd have to put I bit in the description or get fined thousands). This isn't trying to be a sim at all... I don't get where you're seeing the simulation mate. This is just pure arcade and it is fun. Just too easy at the moment. Guess it's not for you but there's a lot enjoying it...myself includes
