Nice! I did the exact same thing with a typhon 3s on my channel. The smc gave it 2mph more also. Mine were same mah. Not worth double the price though. Smc still an awesome battery the punch is awesome.
SMCs and Zees is all I currently have, the punch of the SMCs are noticeable but really doesn't justify the extra cost for bashing. Would be interesting to have seen some Gens Ace in the mix! 🤙
Just bought some zeee lipos here in Oz. Price is awesome for the slight difference and here a top quality battery will cost a good 150 dollars each. Got two zeee for under 100. Hobby stores here add way to much profit margin on the better? Quality options. Rather spend the difference on parts and forgo the couple extra mph no brainer here mate.
It's not just the extra speed and punch. My experience has been that higher end batteries from SMC and Gens Ace last longer and can take more abuse than the cheaper batteries, including Zees.
Nice comparison video. Those Zee batteries are really good. No much of a difference in performance. 1 or 2 mph difference not going to change anything on the track. Buy speed runs and drag yes.
You don't happen to have both brands in either 5000mah or 8000mah? It would have been cool to see if milliamps (capacity) made them more equal or stayed the same.😁
You should do powerhobby versus SMC same ratings I have two power hobby 9,000 mah 3s 100c inmy Talion and got 10mph over my two other three s's I forgot the name at the moment
