A classy and elegant card. I agree Crafters are truly generous people. I adore this die and you made it sing. Totes Epic! as my Grand Boys would say! 💛💛💛
Lovely clean and simple, elegant card. Thank you for sharing. Gettting built-in cupboards installed in my craft room today and then I can get back to creating. Have a great day
Very beautiful card Chris. I must try this with some of my metallic scraps, I don't have this exact die but I do have something similar. I wonder what a red one would look like for a Ruby Anniversary. Thanks for sharing.😃🌼
I just love the satin look of that gold marker-it’s very beautiful! What a lovely card-thanks so much for sharing! P.S. I was so impressed with your other golden anniversary cards, I described them to my hubby & he thought they were lovely too!
What a pretty card. The gold is gorgeous and I love the way you’ve layered the image. Very classy. Thank you for another wonderful video. - Dawn 🌅🧡🧡🧡🧡🧡
This inspired me to create an anniversary card to give as a gift as part of a card set. Thanks so much. I appreciate your explaining why you use separate text boxes instead of just entering a return after the first line of your sentiment. I didn’t mean to imply you should do it differently; I was just curious about the benefit of using the separate text boxes, and it makes perfect sense.
Stunning card Chris, I was going to ask why you did not use mirror card then you answered. lol I love the gold, how you stacked the die cuts and the choice of sentiment. Thanks so much for your time and your wonderful inspiration. I have learned so much watching you since one of your videos popped up in my feed Dec 5th 2022. That was also my introduction to Gummiapan, so thank you for that too!
This is a very pretty Alexandra Renke die and looks so elegant just in white with the added gold beneath and on the hearts around the edge Chrissie..a beautiful card, and such a lovely gift from the lady in France. I have recently been thinking about buying a Platinum 8 machine and I have seen one for a very good price but have realised that it isn't the recent model with the universal plate system which I think was introduced a year ago. I think I'm right that you use this Spellbinder machine but don't know if yours is this newer machine or not, and if you have the older machine do you think it matters that much not have these new plates which are obviously able to adapt to the different thickness of embossing folders etc. I hope you don't mind me asking you but know you will give me an honest opinion..also probably good to know if you get much warping of the plates. I have the Big Shot Pro at the moment but don't find that it cuts the more intricate dies very well, and often end up finishing the cutting with scissors which can be a bit aggravating...lol. x
Well I have a Platinum 6 . When I bought it it has a different set of plates but I bought the longer newer set which I find really useful I can use the Sizzix precision plate in this machine for really intricate dies and tend to use the Scrapbook.com magic mat with it and a piece of Mylar plus a regular top plate on the top. I do have a Sizzix switch which copes with larger die cuts. Each has its place!
Thanks for this Chrissie and I 'll give it some thought. I have to work from a corner of the living room so only have room for one machine so that's why I go for the 8.5" platform. x
