I have a small request. Would you be able to show the maintenance you do to this beautiful machine? I just put together my super splitter and would love to see what you've done to keep her running smoothly. Cheers!
Hi Joe, that super splitter is a sneaky wee thing isnt it. Looks like a toy but tackled some gnarly bits there no problem. Always a pleasure to watch your videos mate. Having a great day here in HB NZ
Hey Joe great video you were moving so fast wasn't sure the Super Split could keep up. You musta had a hot date and had gitter done 😊 Y'all have a great 👍 day
Joe, I see a used super splitter on market place in Mass last week for , I think $2200. It looked brand new. Yours is fast & looks like it’s doing a great job for you. Great video & have a great day. 👍👍
I'm have no idea how my previous comment to Chris and Bert made it to your channel🤔🤔 ?? Anyway I'm convinced the Super Split will be the next addition to my operation for so many reasons. The timing of this video was spot on Joe!
I have a Lowe’s wheel barrel with a solid tire. It has been a great tool to move wood etc, it’s definitely seasoned itself over the years. the axle has come loose recently a couple of times, and of course disaster strikes each time. Great timing, I will check that company out. Thanks Joe.
That splitter is impressive. Was shocked that it was able to bust open several of those knotty chunks. If only the pusher was bigger and the rack bearings were good with snow/ice build-up, I'd have one myself. It is a seriously quick machine!
Thanks Dr. I have concluded the pusher is better being small. It makes the machine much safer. A tall pusher could extend above a piece being split and trap the hand going into the knife.
Ha ha, I wonder who that very nice firewood delivery service that gave you the wood is? Elaine from Canada here, watching you work so efficiently again. Two or three stubbies on the S.S. rail? Only you Joe, heh heh. Loved the speed, crunching sounds, and the beautiful skyline. Have a great week Joe.
Hi Milo, I've had Super Split for nearly fifty years. Used to be a dealer. I converted it to a 1hp Baldor electric motor ten years ago. Hey, why are trees round and not square? Hmmmmm. LOL. SHALOM/GW
imagine that a bulk firewood delivery in a IBC bin w/o stacking with a wheelbarrow conveyor to a no stack woodshed. the old fashion methods still work. prime example of bulk handling methods, no stacking required. thanks for sharing. just kidding joe.
Nice to see the super split back in action Joe. You’re going to have to talk to your free firewood supplier. That wood shed looked a little low. I recently bought some logs with a sassafras log or two mixed in. Quite a unique smell. Are you going to chip any of it that for smoking wood? A buddy of mine uses it to smoke everything from cheese to summer sausage. He advised me to advertise it as smoking wood. I think I’ll try that once it’s dry. Great video! Have a great day 👍🏻!
Definitely shows how even those ugly off cuts aren’t wasted. Joe, suggestion for a short. I saw your stockpile at home, in the background. A quick update on its status could be done, just a thought. Think it would be interesting.
Hi Joe. Thanks for the video. Why do you split that wood if it’s going into the boiler? I thought that was sort If the point of a boiler that you could toss big rounds in?
Hey Joe, it seems this load came just in time for you to keep the hottest shower in NE Ohio?! 😄 Luckily we have some sping like weather over here for a while now. The nights of course are still a bit chilly, but I only run my fireplace in the evening from time to time, and not all day long. Greetings from Germany ✌
NOt sure if you can get this Amazon link in Sweden. Here it is www.amazon.com/dp/B0184VX1UM?linkCode=ssc&tag=onamzjoenay-20&creativeASIN=B0184VX1UM&asc_item-id=amzn1.ideas.3ULHPLUEC8ZBS&ref_=aip_sf_list_spv_ofs_mixed_d_asin
haha. In Northeast Ohio we are very vulnerable to major snow storms in March and early April. Lake erie is not frozen and all it takes a cold air coming from Canada
Hi Joe, love my super splitter - I’m not a short guy 5/10 but find the handle a bit high for my liking, made a custom drop handle from a broken ax handle that dropped it 2” and forward 2” I’ll send you you picture to your email. Huge difference.
@@haroldanderson2781 have been doing the same, I’m not wanting for anything, splits faster than I can feed it even at 1/2 throttle - just crank it when something is really tough
Those kinetic splitters are fast compared to hydrolytic splitters - would you know how they wood work on gum or elm - I was looking at the sky line - down were I live in the deep South the humidity defuse the sun light so the sky line is never crystal clear as it is up north from here - Most of the the humidity is high and the sunlight is defused -
As always Joe Super Video with the Super Splitter. Nice looking Ugly Rounds no match for the Splitter. Looked Like Alot of Maple and Cherry my friend. Won't be able to get out till Friday to Cut my Logs for an Hour, doing up some then. Saturday I will be Splitting them up Downstairs on my Electric Splitter. Still get very Weak, but not giving up. Keep up your Great Video's my Friend. Ron from the Woodyard in Duanesburg NY
You are the CEO of firewood. I’d rather hear you talk about The firewood business. Everybody with a dirty hat and a pair of gloves splitting wood on RU-vid. You do a great job of explaining the business and how to make it profitable and that is important to me. Have a great day.❤❤🎉
