Super Street Fighter IV - Theme of Ken

If you think about it, Ken is the Dante of Street Fighter. He loves fighting evil, and he's always going to finish something with style.

why is ken's theme soo good in every game?

This IMO is by far the best version of Ken's theme out of all the ones I have listened to.

I remember playing the Street Fighter games with my dad since I was 6. He used to always beat me in the game but now in SF6, I beat him in the game many times. But still bro, I miss the old games. They were part of my childhood.

This version sounds kinda like something out of Mega Man. Maverick Hunter X, maybe.

If you're a Ryu and/or Ken fan, I combined both themes into one song for 2 violins and piano. I also timed it to a double-KO gameplay video between Ryu and Ken. It's pretty epic and I invite you to come check it out!

After Ken's theme dropped for SF6, I've thought I noticed something and it took me two weeks to realize that Ken's artwork in 6 is almost exactly like his artwork in 4 with the different facial expression and costume

Do you know that Ken's theme was inspired in a Cheap Trick's song? Listen Mighty Wings from them and discover and it song was played in the first movie of Top Gun. Ken is the best!!!

How can Ken be overrated when he's one of the two pioneer characters of the whole franchise?

This version may not be as "pumped" as the last one, but because of how most of the other soundtracks in SFIV are, it's still good. You guys gotta remember that they can't go almost complete techno n' melodies, then randomly toss out metal for one person. That'd be weird and out of place. Kudos to Capcom for doing things right, cause it still sounds great!

Ken fighting style is more towards combos and the coolness of it while ryu is more calm and more focus

As the uploader said, "Ryu" means "Dragon" and Ken means "Fist" and because their skills are martial arts-based, the skills tend to end in "Ken" because the Hadoken (Surge Fist/Energy Fist/Aura Fist) and Shoruyken (Literally "Rising Dragon Fist") are hand-related techniques. Their names relate to their signatures - Ryu referring to the "ferocity of a dragon" it takes to loose an "energy wave" with your bare hands, and Ken referring to the pure strength of fist to be able to use the Shoryuken.

That bass in the intro is freaking... just wow.

I really hope they can surpass this theme in SFVI.

there was a third character trained by Gouken... he was trained before Ken and Ryu... he trained to avenge his dead father... Gouken kicked him out when he learned of the man's murderous intent... this third man was Dan.

Someone should make a mod for USF4 that gives every character their non-canonical rival. Ex: Ken fights Evil Ryu, Evil Ryu fights Ken, Akuma fights Gouken, Cody fights Poison/Hugo, etc. I personally feel this theme is perfect for Ken and Evil Ryu’s final battle.

Had to come listen to this to wash the taste of Kens SF6 theme out of my mouth.
