I’m so tired of being obsessed with eating. No matter what goes in the mouth the mind is consumed with eating, not eating, what to eat what not to eat… I wish there was a pill you take and be one and done but there is not. My entire life has always revolved around consumption or not consuming. It’s why it is easier to just eat whatever and not have to think .. maybe I am worn out. I will eat my steak because it takes less thought. I drink water because I must as I actually need the thing it does. My muscles (all of them) spasm no matter what I eat, drink, do, or supplements .. I have these round the clock. I think my body is too heavy for my muscles because nothing ever changes this. I’ve been driven to relieve myself of this so it’s not lack of effort or ignorance. I truly wish I never had to think about food or my body ever again. I have been mostly carnivore for 5 years. I have used intermittent fasting for ease of my mind. Its just less need for food thought. I should have had the surgery when I was young enough to endure it. I’m 75 now.
I found out my muscle spasms were anxiety related - exasperated by caffeine. I take medication for it and reduces the spasms about 95%. I hope to get off of it some day. Also I have not tried taking magnesium but there may be a benefit from that also because stress depleted magnesium and of course that will cause muscle spasms.
I’m sorry you’re suffering. Being strict carnivore has satiated me to the point where I do not have to think about food all the time. In fact nowadays I never think about it anymore. Total food freedom. You are correct. It is just easier to pop that steak into the pan and go about your day. For me as an athlete, when I went complete lion diet I had incredible cramps everywhere. Painful ones, too. I do not want to buy LMNT, because I can’t afford to dish out $30-50 for every package. That’s too much money. Pretty much every electrolyte mix has also some other form of additives in or sugar for the flavor. I can not tolerate anything in that form. What helped me is milk. Just plain whole milk. It contains all of the electrolytes but one. I drink 1-2 glasses of plain whole milk a day and I have none of these painful cramps anymore. I have not checked the nutrient content in eggs. That might help, as well, as eggs are literally natures vitamin pill and completely carnivore. I will look into that. I literally just found this out. I was cramp ridden yet again from our Lion diet experiment in April. Up until yesterday morning I had horrible cramps. I drank four glasses of milk all day yesterday. Today no cramps, nothing. 💪💪💪 Tou most likely don’t have to drink 4 glasses. I just drank that many, because my electrolyte stores were probably depleted. Seems that I was correct, cause I’m fine today. I would give that a shot and see if it helps. If you can’t tolerate milk… I couldn’t either… or so I thought. Turns out I was actually not milk intolerant. My body was so inflamed from all the carbs and plant toxin that it was reacting to milk, yes. But it was not the milk. It was the plants and carbs. 6 months strict Lion diet fixed that. After that I drank milk, no problems.
I have non-allergic chronic rhinitis which has debilitated me to no end. Lion diet is the only thing that gives me hope, b/c I have seen improvements, slow but sure. But I agree that the motivation is hard to keep up. I don't eat anything but beef. Giving up eggs, which I love, was my last stand and now I've even (mostly) given up added salt to my beef. It's as strict as I can get w/o starving altogether, but I see signs that it's working. I guess some of us just have it that way! Thanks for your videos. They've been helping me for a long time now.
I LOVE your vids! You are so motivational and supportive. That said, i am seriously struggling. I have been strictly carnivore, do not eat any veggies, fruits or other carb filled foods. I have been BBBE for 2 months and the changes i have seen is weight gain and such a lack of energy i can barely get out of bed in the morning and after being up and awake for about 3 hours i need a nap. What am i doing wrong? I dont expect to see any significant weight loss but i feel awful. All my labs look good....and in fact some of them are "optimal". I just want to feel better. I have less than 20 lbs to loose and that can be slow i realize that. All these people saying they feel great after being strict carnivore for less than 2 weeks are making me suspicious! No artificial sweetners, no dairy, no going off plan, no sugar cravings either and was never a big sweets eater. ANY suggestions? Been qt this for 2 months now. Thanks
This is my issue. Word for word . I’m currently experimenting with all sorts of different ways of eating . I feel heavy & tired eating this way now . Hopefully I’ll find my way to what works for me ❤❤
I cannot eat pork unless it’s corn & soy free & pasture raised . Same with chicken & eggs . It makes me feel heavy & low energy . If I eat early I’m tired . This doesn’t happen with simple carbs like fruit & salads . But if I eat too late I’m eating too close to bed time & can’t sleep . Especially with it being warmer out I’m craving light & simple foods like berries & salads . I react to many foods . I’ll figure it all out . And yes too much variety for me makes me anxious
What does the beef gelatin do? I use butter in mine and on non HIIT days I add collagen. I’m wondering if I should cut butter? Hmm… I don’t do any other dairy. I cannot tolerate it nor eggs 😔 I feel sad you have to eat so many things you don’t care for! So proud of you for finally cutting sweetners
@@Thegrassfedgirl you mentioned 3 things that your husband like that you “don’t really care for” that you eat anyways. That made me sad for you. That’s all. I eat the foods I love. 💕 what kind of gelatin do you buy? ☕️
@@krystal.clear.carnivore he likes seafood but since I started.carnivore I don't like it as much as red meat. Maybe you misunderstood. seafood is really good for us so we all need to eat it even if we don't crave it. It is also easy to eat if you are not very hungry as opposed to meat. I eat foods that give my body a wide variety of nutrients. There is a lot of evidence that people evolved eating a lot of seafood. the most common food in the early americas was oysters for example. I like seafood I just don't crave it. I was born near the ocean so I will always love seafood.
Ive heard people doing beef tallow instead of butter. Maybe try that. Also if you have trouble with eggs any meat that comes from feathered riends you will most likely have issues. I do. I can't do much of any dairy, I do Coconut milk, hard cheese ocasionally.
Believe me I have tried everything lol. Tallow has such a strong taste I can’t use it much. Ghee seems okay or I just eat ground beef or other fatty meat and don’t Add fat to it
I gained 32 pounds in 6 months on carnivore and I just cannot do it anymore, it is so depressing. I just ate eggs, hamburger and ribeye 😢I think I should try keto?
Actually your body is healing. Healing the damage from the past. Don’t stop. You’re about to plateau gaining- which is not mainly fat, but muscle. Stick with this and you’ll start losing the extra weight that your body doesn’t need. If you are not working out, just start walking and light weights. You are soooo close!!!! So close. Keep going.
And gaining weight is absolutely normal for this type of dietary change. Add one ounce of liver twice a week. And if possible drink lemon water. I have full faith in your transformation. Look up Steak and butter gal. She’s really the true testament to this diet.
