I think our body needs stress sometimes. It is different from mental or chronic stress. Physical stress like fasting can send our body fight or flight signal and build us up to make us stronger. It is my personal opinion. This is a concept known as hormesis. Hormesis is the idea that certain stressors, when experienced in controlled amounts, can actually benefit the body by triggering adaptive responses that improve health and resilience.

Ive heard people doing beef tallow instead of butter. Maybe try that. Also if you have trouble with eggs any meat that comes from feathered riends you will most likely have issues. I do. I can't do much of any dairy, I do Coconut milk, hard cheese ocasionally.
Believe me I have tried everything lol. Tallow has such a strong taste I can’t use it much. Ghee seems okay or I just eat ground beef or other fatty meat and don’t Add fat to it
Have lupus for 8 y. Starting carnivore like 3 mo a go, working out more, trying stronger, thinner, stronger, my energies don’t go down on my last trip was amazing. And my numbers keep getting better , also like working my but. I was so weak, now I lift the highest on the rotary hip. 295 lb. Squats are harder for me
Hello. I am a 71 yo female. I’m on day 12 of carnivore. I just ordered your gelatin & relyte. I don’t have a gall bladder & struggling with the diarrhea. I was diagnosed with fatty liver & I’m insulin resistant and considered obese. So I am trying to correct all this and get healthier. Plus my hubby has multiple myeloma & still takes treatment. He was diagnosed in 2014 and had a stem cell transplant in 2015. He did great until 2022, then his numbers crept back up so he was put on a chemo/treatment regimen. He’s been on that since December 2022 so hoping this helps him as well. We are both very motivated to do this. Just struggling with recipes & what to eat. Oh I also have leaky gut. Im so respectfully jelly of how much Bella can eat. I have 2 burger patties with cheese and eggs in the morning. After that I don't feel like eating for the rest of the day. I've tried to force myself to reach a higher protien goal, but it just tastes bad and feels like a chore. Im pretty sure im fat adapted or have enough fat still because im very energetic and workout with no problems. When I crave fat, I make a butter latte - 3oz of raw heavy cream, 50g of salted butter, and 1 cup of hot water frothed together until its ceamy. I stopped drinking coffe about 2 months in because it was making me dizzy
MY GOD! It's hard to believe we are still seeing these sorts of things. This "certified diabetes educator" is clearly metabolically unhealthy and she's giving this advice. Would you take your car to a mechanic who kept a collection of nonworking cars in his yard? And she's dead-wrong. Your body can live JUST FINE without carbohydrates. Horrifying.
@@Thegrassfedgirl liquid aminos (Bragg brand) shows zero carbs. This is what I usually use to replace soy sauce. It’s very salty though so I wasn’t sure if would be too much for this recipe.
Hi, u did not specify, if u waited for the duckfat to cool down a bit or use it hot? I am about to use beef tallow to make mine, I never bother with just using yokes, I stick the whole egg in.
Hello from OH! Started carnivore Jan 1st of this year & lost 20 lbs within the first 3 months, have about 20 more to get where I’m comfortable. You could say I’m “stalled” but I can feel my body composition changing, less flab in my thighs and belly for sure! I have felt great overall, but I’m hardly ever hungry now, so feel like I’m literally forcing myself to eat a lot of times. The first 6-8 weeks I had a normal appetite (came from 4 years keto & had lost 95 lb before last pregnancy but after nursing 2yrs I felt completely drained, stalled and even started gaining a few lb even while staying keto) I’m being mindful to eat at least some regardless bc I know my body & hormones needs fat and protein so I don’t cause other issues. I thought about cutting out dairy to see if that helps, but don’t really want to cut anything else out rn I mostly eat beef, some chicken, eggs, loads of butter, cook with bacon grease or tallow, bacon, some dairy like cottage cheese, cream cheese, sharp cheddar and heavy cream cheese most days. When I eat I feel satisfied and seem to stay that way for quite some time, maybe that’s just normal? I’m pretty short, 5’1” and 172-175 currently. It’s just so strange to not really feel that nauseous hunger feeling anymore like I did with keto..
