Emma... I don't even know where to begin. I have a disorder called trichotillomania, which is a compulsive hair pulling disorder. I developed it as a response to trauma and it is super frustrating and hard to live with. I have lots of visible bald patches so going to a hair salon (or spa!) is a very stressful even for me. I have had to learn to cut my own hair because I had so many bad experiences. This video was extra special, because I got to feel pampered without all the rude questions and the compliments in the video are compliments I never get. The intro is so comforting and kind (the whole video is but especially the intro). I know I will return to this video many times when I start to feel upset about my hair, when I'm having a rough day, or feel ugly. Thank you for all that you do. Sending you lots of love and light

Sarah Smith I’m also a trichstr (thankful that it has improved quite a bit with age, I used to have huge bald spots on my head and my stepdad made fun of me for it). PTSD now presents itself in different ways for me and I wouldn’t wish these feelings on my least favourite person. We’re resilient though, eh? I’m glad you find comfort in this video. Emma feels like the mother’s love that I never had. She’s sooo appreciated and I truly hope she knows how much she helps.

The washing part is sooo calming! This might be a weird comparison but it reminds me of those videos that are like womb sounds, which are supposed to relax you by reminding you of what it was like to be in the womb. I loved this whole thing, but OMG! The whole dryer cap sequence was out of the world. The wind in my ears--I would love an entire video of that please. I was tingling from my head to my feet and I could FEEL the wind blowing on me. I will probably replay that section over and over again!

I've watched this every night since the upload. I've been trying to enjoy the spa experience, but I can hardly get through the introduction before I wake up in the morning with my headphones wrapped around my face with no recollection of what the video contained. Hello my beautiful sweet Emma. Ahhh, just what I needed, a lovely relaxing haircut from you, hehe. Honestly, I do need a haircut, it keeps getting in my face and wraps around my neck when I'm trying to sleep, which doesn't feel to comfortable, lol. I wish there was a way I could get to NY. I'd love to meet you. One of these days though, haven't got a clue when but I'm going to make sure I meet you one day. I just want to be able to thank you personally, face to face, on all you do and how much you've helped me over the years and give you the biggest and tightest hug ever. You are the sweetest, kindest, most loving and caring person that I know of. It was your gentle and loving personality that got me addicted to your videos in the first place. Today's another hot day where I live so I don't have much energy at the moment. I had a real bad headache last night but I put on one of your videos and it helped me to relax and the headache got so much better. Ever thought of doing a headache relief role play of some sort? I think that'd be awesome if you did. Like I always say, you never fail to relax me with your videos. I often like to imagine that you're right next to me doing whatever it is your doing in that particular video when I watch or listen to your videos and you always make me feel so safe, calm and loved. it’s incredibly hard to choose who to listen to before i go to sleep, because i always manage to fall asleep within the first 10 min of my top asmrtists videos, but Emma has been my go to as of recent. i feel a little guilty like i’m cheating on my other favorites. i’m trying really hard to be fair lol but i can’t help that she’s become my number 1! 😣💕

Thank you for this relaxing video. I am 62 years old and was just diagnosed with AFIB. Luckily, I have had only a few episodes, but my first landed me in the ER. I do all the right things to stay healthy. I tried meditation -- but my busy mind just couldn't be patient enough. Your videos are my meditation. Honestly, there are times when I KNOW your videos keep the AFIB at bay. BTW, there was a recent article on the AARP website about anxiety and older people. It identified ASMR as a way to calm anxiety. Even my little dog and my husband watch with me now.

This is hands down one of the best ASMR's I've ever experienced. I felt it. It felt like Emma was taking care of me. Brushing my hair, washing it. The tingles 🥰. I only wish it was longer. The future needs an ASMR spa forreal.
