If he held the 4 aces he would have been the same amount but if he dropped the king..any 2,3,or 4 would have increased his winnings..don't hold the king!..fyi..after checking the pay table this is a unique game ..so good hit and glad to know if ever encounter this in the future..there are so many variables to the original game nowadays
Tips in Super Triple Play Super DDB 6/5 or 7/5, for those folks who want to play mathematically: 1. If you are dealt with hands like KKAK2, the correct holding is KKAK. As a general rule, if the pay with the kicker is *4 times or more than* the pay without the kicker, you should hold the kicker. In this game, the hand of 4 high cards with a kicker pays 1600 while 400 without a kicker. If you are dealt with AAA23, the correct play is holding AAA. NEVER hold a kicker when you are dealt with 3 aces. Because the hand of 4 aces with a kicker pays 4000, but it pays 1600 (instead of 800) without a kicker. Always remember this "4 times pay with the kicker" rule. Another example is in regular DDB, you don't hold kicker, in TDB, you always hold a kicker. Please apply this rule and make sure you understand it. 2. If you are dealt with a high pair and a low pair KK22A, you should hold KK only. 3. If you are dealt with 2 high pairs like QQKK2, hold ONLY one high pair like QQ or KK (it doesn't matter which pair you hold mathematically). If you are dealt a hand like AAQQ2, always hold AA. 4. Don't go for an inside straight, for the hand like 23467, you toss all cards.

Nice hit. Never seen this one. To be clear, Getting AAAA with 5-10 just pays $1600? I haven't really seen JQK Kickers in Vegas or So Cal casinos. Shed some light if you've seen em out there.
you have to look for this specific game called Super Double Double Bonus. Aces typically pay 800 per credit without a kicker. It's standard for most games. DDB gives you 2000 with a kicker of 2, 3, or 4. TDB gives you 4000 credits with a 2,3, or 4. This game gives you the same as DDB but with a J,Q, or K instead. Notice it is a $2 denom so multiply everything by 2 if you want dollars instead of credits.
Never hold kickers on a 3 kind deal...get the 4 first then hope for a kicker, I understand so called "long term " its but its still 1/23 shot of getting your 4th card, 1/46 if holding kicker... and video poker can be a cruel game in the form of losing streaks and any jackpot keeps the spirits up.
1/46 is not that big. Think about you hit it at 46th time while lose more than what you are supposed to lose in the first 45 times. Always think the worst case first if not playing mathematically.
@@jeffreynowak8866 On 9/7 TDB, if you are dealt with the hand like AAA23, the expected return of holding the kicker pays 97.12 credits while holding triple aces pays 76.36 credits. Clearly anyone who knows the basic math knows which is better.
