@VP Of Rent'em Spoons It really depends on the location. In dangerous cities, yes, End of Watch is very accurate. In small, quiet communities, Super Troopers is actually somewhat accurate.
This is one of those movies ... This is supposed to suck. But it didn't. Caddyshack, Ghostbusters. Just the right writers and the write people. That's gold.
I’m a cop. Been one for twenty-eight years. Other than a four year stint in Detectives, I’ve been on the street. If you’re going to make this a successful career, you have to embrace laughing at yourself and letting others around you share in those moments. Over the years I’ve convinced my Starbucks, Dunkin D’s and my favorite restaurants that it’s cool to shout from the register back to their coworker preparing my food “It’s for a cop!” whenever I order. They love it, I love it and when the other customers see this and see that we’re all laughing together at the joke, they start laughing too. Thank you Service Industry for all you do and for keeping me frosty. Warmly, Boston
Thank you for your service, sir. Conveying a down-to-earth personality and sense of humor to those around you makes you one of the good ones. For those with a personality like Farva here, these movies hit the spot.
@@7474. you mean like how you tell people you're a vet, like that makes it any fucking different? Lol here's a good one I heard from some dip who commented earlier "no one asked".
I love how as he says “Litre of cola” you can clearly see Ramathorn keep his head down because he’s trying not to laugh 😂 classic! Whenever I watch this now I see him drop his head and you can clearly see he’s trying not to crack up at Farva’s dialogue!
what? he clearly drooped his head cuz its part of the scene. he does it slowly and methodically, not in a sudden movement like hes snuffing a laugh. you cant even see a smile forming whatsoever, hes completely straight faced LOL what the fuck is with people coming up with random nonsense like this that they form from quite literally nothing???
Farva grabbing his side arm was so the best part. Had to watch this movie twice in the theatre because it was non stop laughing from the crowds we couldn’t even hear follow up jokes 😂😂😂😂. #LiterCola
I am from Vermont and worked with the State Police. Highly professional outfit and I enjoyed it a lot At the same time, this movie was funny as hell, but had my VSP buddies pissed off in a big way! LOL. I am retired Army and thought Stripes (the movie) was funny as hell too. Have a good day everyone.
It's the movies that were never recognized that were the greatest ever Bio Dome In the Army Now and Son in Law from the 90s Super Troopers is this century's best forgotten comical group The Broken Lizard
I find it hilarious when he attacked the cashier and the other employees for the hole in his cup; but he didn't go off on them for giving him a plain cheeseburger with spit on it when he asked for a double bacon cheeseburger.😂😂😂😂😂
The best part that was cut here was when Thorny peels back the game piece and wins 100 free dimpburgers and he remarks to himself, “That’s a lot of dimp.”
Everyone's always saying how this scene or that scene are the best ever but I really do challenge someone to find a better scene than this. The way farva delivers his lines and the asshole face of the fast food guy... it's perfect, absolutely perfect. It's not just that he says do you want me to punchasize your face, no, it's the added....for free, that really makes it lol
The funniest part, imo, was after - when they immediately cut to the sergeant back at the station, playing and replaying the cctv footage of Farva diving over the counter. Brilliant editing in this movie.
Agreed and I feel like I've seen every movie ever lol. This is about as perfect as you get. It's the subtlety that drives it home "do you want me to punchasize your face...for free?" The first part is funny but the added for free just puts it over the top. These guys nailed it
