ℹ️ Ingredients:
2 boneless, skinless chicken breast halves
Salt and pepper to taste
2 tablespoons olive oil
2 garlic cloves, minced
1 teaspoon dried thyme
Juice of 1 lemon
4 large lettuce leaves (such as romaine or butter lettuce)
Optional garnishes: sliced tomatoes, avocado, cucumber, or your favorite salad toppings
ℹ️ Instructions:
Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
Season the chicken breast halves with salt and pepper on both sides.
In a small bowl, whisk together the olive oil, minced garlic, dried thyme, and lemon juice to make the marinade.
Place the chicken breast halves in a shallow dish or resealable plastic bag, and pour the marinade over them. Make sure the chicken is evenly coated. Allow the chicken to marinate for at least 30 minutes, or up to 2 hours in the refrigerator.
Once the chicken has finished marinating, remove it from the marinade and discard any excess marinade.
Grill the chicken breast halves for about 6-8 minutes per side, or until they are cooked through and no longer pink in the center. The internal temperature should reach 165°F (75°C).
While the chicken is grilling, prepare your lettuce leaves by washing and drying them thoroughly. Place one or two lettuce leaves on each serving plate.
Once the chicken is done, remove it from the grill and let it rest for a few minutes. Then, slice the chicken breasts into thin strips.
Arrange the sliced chicken breast halves on top of the lettuce leaves.
Serve the grilled chicken breast halves on lettuce leaves with your choice of optional garnishes, such as sliced tomatoes, avocado, cucumber, or any other salad toppings you prefer.
