I´m with Spot. The Foot Soldier was the first and only time I got many of. And my family also asked me if I was sure because I already had one.

Sweet! I managed to pick this whole wave thankfully.... didn't know you had reviews on them! #Super7 is killing it with this line! Although the Foot Solider wasn't my favourite figure as a kid.... That's a good looking Foot Soldier. I could see a whole army of them lined up. With weapons that are well painted and sculpted.

I feel like the figure looks better using the weapons clipped off the sprue. So cool seeing them with that solid grey, all kinds of nostalgia buttons being pushed in my brain.

It's a good figure, but boy the joints on this figure make me nervous. I hope they change them up in the hip and elbows come the second release.

I kinda wish super 7 did a cheaper version without all the accessories and hands so it would be easier to army building. I mean all those accessories are more than enough for a group of soldiers. The hand with the weird finger maybe is for holding shuriken? That's the only thing I can think of

I already know that Neca figures are based on the cartoon, and that super 7 figures are based on the original toys. I also know that the original arcade game was based on the cartoon and that Neca recycled the Mirage comics soldiers for the SDCC arcade set. Nonetheless, in spite of the color scheme, I feel that this version of Super 7 is more in line with the arcade version of the foot soldiers than both arcade and cartoon versions by Neca. Idk, perphaps it has something to do with their eyes...
