Ohhh man I'm very happy with this one. I thought Super 7 went backwards and took the new stuff out for a simple repaint but this is what I wanted. Can't wait until this comes in for me. Great review!
At first I thought he was just the same Lion O but with more parts but he does look pretty unique looking. I already have the first wave Lion O, so maybe I might get him for Lion O to battle his evil clone.
Well, if they make a pin-less Lion-O I'll consider upgrading. I still think they are way too muscular when compared to the cartoon, and the scaling has been atrocious, but It's still the best ThunderCat's so far. Glad I got wave one Lion-O but I'm totally skipping this orange version.
Looking back at this review, Lion O is Super7's most resculpted figure. There's always new part for every release. Their 2024 release seems to be 100% resculpt
I watched this Lino-o (Mirror) in ThunderCats cartoon series. He is not Lion-o, He was Mumm-Ra who turned himself by Lion-o's evil character, which call a Mirror.
I see what you’re saying about the Mirror Lion-O looking a little softer/toned down compared to the wave 1 Lion-O. I think I actually like that. Lion-O is going to be the center/focal point of my Thundercat heroes display, so I like him having the extra detail. And for my villains, Mirror Lion-O is going to be more to the side/in a supporting role. Not taking attention away from Mumm-Ra, but his presence is definitely still felt.
I would highly recommend buying a few of them my friend. I personally have Mumm Ra the Ancient, Liono, Jackalman and Panthro with Monkian on the way and I love this figures. I've collected Marvel Legends for the most part (I had to quit supporting Hasbro due to they're recent business changes) the Super 7 Thunder Cats figures aren't perfect when comparing them to the show but they are pretty close and they look amazing. If your a Thunder Cats fan I can't recommend this enough. They have fastly become my favorites in my collection. I hope this helps Chris and that this message finds you well.

This guy looks like has a better articulation than Tygra. At least his knees bend 90 degrees. His quality looks good , looks like Super7 is improving the thundercats line. I hope they give us another Lion-O with this body but in blue , another Tygra with better articulation and another Pumyra with the same Cheetara's height cause the first one is still out of scale.
Hoping for King Lion-O or the cape from Snow Mountain. Mirror looks orange to me. He may have some darker orange or red in the outlines acting as shading.
is there a difference between the regular face between both of them? I just noticed today my first super 7 Lion -O have like a scar in the chin... I didn't opened yet because I'm preparing my shelves to add all the Thundercats figures I been getting from the bigbadtoystore!😃✌️

Great review. I would like to get more in depth on what you mean when you say “ just not for me.” I know you mean it as I don’t like it, but why don’t you? Still not worth for me to bring me back to the line. I’m on my last leg with Super7. I am almost close to call it with them on the TMNT LINE. I’ve dropped several lines that I was collecting.
Might buy this to get pinless body. Could swap from Bicep and the legs pop off from hip and boots come off to do easy swap. Skin Color might be off a bit but with minor paint to match plus some new accessories.
Question about the skin tone of the figure. Other than the red costume version, is the skin tone of the arms and legs similar to the wave one Lion-O? A friend is asking. 😄
So this is improved and pinless, but the second release wasn't. So anyone wanting a Lion-O that actually meets the standard of the rest of the line they are supposed to what, wait for the eventual 6th version of the character? The next one is a LJN style with colors not consistent with the show, so the one AFTER that (if they even bother) might be right? You poor Thundercats fans deserve better, and you should hold Super7 to task for shitting the bed with this line from the start.
Also. The grappling hook bends. I need to start doing reviews cause every single one of you guys leaves out shit that I discover lol. This been going on for years.
