What do you think of the SuperATV A-Arms? Worth it? Questions? Want to say something, I'll respond! EDIT: Hey folks, I understand I seem frustrated in this video. Honestly I was, I pride myself on being honest with viewers about products like these. Moving forward I will try to be more professional and clear about what is happening. This in no way was a negative experience overall and I do highly recommend companies involved. Issues like these happen and they proved to be amazing people to work with to fix any issues I had. What it came down to (26:08) was my choice in rim being incorrect. Thanks for understanding, don't be shy to ask questions! secure.dirtylife.ca/product/superatv-high-clearance-a-arm-for-can-am-outlander-renegade/

I drove a 570 today and I can't imagine how powerful the 1000r is... I would get myself killed on a 1000r. The 570 has plenty of power for me.

I'm really glad I came across this video, I've been trying to decide between the 8's vs 10's on my 850 most likely on the stock wheels. I have some floorboards already ordered that will clear 33's, but I'll definitely have to go with some wheel spacers if I go with the wides. Id really like the 32x8s, theyre within 2lbs but I'm just not convinced ill have the power to keep them moving in anything thick with 10 less HP than a 1000.

I'm glad I could help in any way. My biggest issue was choosing the incorrect back spacing (offset) on my rims, that is what ultimately led to my issues. Good luck!

Put thinner tires on the front that should give you the clearance you need hello when you bought the thing that's how it came ! and now if you want to avoid spacers go narrower , went you get into the thick of things the front tires are in the air anyway !

What plow mount do you have. Just installed the arms but can am plow mount doesn’t seem to fit with them. Looks like your mount sits further back

These don’t add lift like the patv ones I’m assuming. I’m pretty much as far as I can go with my axles with no issue so not looking for more lift just room. Anyway any cons to them with handling etc. I’m on a short frame xmr 850 so I know we are comparing apples to Oranges lol but you seem to have honest opinions on things and you e been running them a while so I figured you have some good input. Hope to see ya on the trails this year cheers bud

Great video, I'm looking to purchase these a-arms but I'm not sure if the lower arms will clear the plow mount. Plow mount is same as yours but mine is mounted directly under the front diff. Not sure if it would interfere withe the cross member on the a-arm. Please advise

Do those a-arms come with their own bushings or do the utilize the factory Canam bushings? I’ve got Garage Products bushings I’d like to swap over if I got these a-arms.
@MainvilleATV
@MainvilleATV 5 лет назад
They do not come with bushing or steel clips. You can swap in your garage products into them. Dirtylife.ca sells all of it including garage products if you want new or more of them. Enjoy and thanks for watching!

Going with 8s on the front may have been the ticket. Great informational vid bud.
@MainvilleATV

Oh for sure. I'm just too stubborn, kept throwing money at it ahah. My biggest mistake was actually the rims being the incorrect backspacing.
@NOSAtvs
@NOSAtvs 5 лет назад
@@MainvilleATV yeah i hear ya. Your rims look like they have a more positive offset then my can am beadlocks.
@MainvilleATV
@MainvilleATV 5 лет назад
@@NOSAtvs yeah, this is appearently the version they use on the outlanders. Theres 3 identical versions canam makes the difference is offset.
@NOSAtvs
@NOSAtvs 5 лет назад
@@MainvilleATV yeah maybe the offset that comes with the Renegade xmr would have been the way to go... Hard to say but I'm looking at mine right now and they look to have more of a deeper dish then wha chu got there.

@MainvilleATV

I had to do both. Otherwise you can just get a proper fitting rim or spacers.

I installed a set of forward arms with integrated 2" lift from patv and have zero clearance issues.
@MainvilleATV
@MainvilleATV 5 лет назад
That's a good way to do it for sure. I just didnt want to lift it. My issue is my rim back spacing, not the arms. Live and learn, eh?

with that patv lift are you breaking more axles? are you still breaking Lights with your tires?

So a guy on a budget should stay away from these kits and just get -offset rims and trim up some plastic? Awsome and very informal video,yes i subscribed.

So is this a 1.5 inch lift and moves it forward? Or does it just move the wheels forward.

Only forward, and high clearance.

@beri232
@beri232 5 лет назад
I read through the comments here but nobody asked..... how did you fix the issue with that one lower a-arm being too short.... causing the alignment to be all wonky? Also, you showed the cv boot on the one side rubbing against the a-arm... what was the fix for that? And what did Super ATV say about that bracket-stop for the pitman arm that wasn’t doing what it was supposed to do. Based on this video, that’s a hokey and poorly engineered kit.
@MainvilleATV
@MainvilleATV 5 лет назад
The misaligned a arms simple had to be adjusted which was simple, the steering stop I simply received the wrong one. Everything was perfect after that! Superatv did a great job sorting it all out. What happened to me was a rare mistake is all.
