The response by the teacher after his tirade is great. More teachers should be like this and just recognize that what your teaching will never resonate with some students and just move on and leave those kids alone.

Evan brushing his partner's hair and reaching over his shoulder to tie the apron at 0:33 is so fucking funny to me, the scene right before when his own apron is getting tied already drives home Seth's point to the teacher but they just go at it again even harder. This movie is utter genius.

I love that this movie kickstarted Jonah and Emma becoming huge stars.

I remember my friend doing that in food tech class with his girlfriend at the time. The boys laughed and she caught him and hit him in the nuts. He collapsed on the ground and the teacher saw him and sent him outside for disturbing her class.

I love this movie and its so hilarious, but honestly if this were real I feel like Seth as a character wouldn't be a high school nerd with no friends. He would more likely be that class clown type thats friends with everyone and always get invited to stuff because he's so much fun. He might not have a girlfriend, but he would be one of those popular guys that doesn't fit into one certain clique but is loved by all.

This makes me sad. I miss movies like this.

The only thing that seems off to me in this scene is that none of the other classmates look up to watch any of the main four actors cursing or antics. Seems like the director told them to in no way look at the loud goings on by the mains. The movie FAST TIMES AT RIDGEMONT HIGH did better in this regard.
