My son was born in 2010. I swore with my friends I would show him this movie the night before he went into his first day of high school. Me and my friends were going to convince him that this is exactly what high school is like. Crazy to think, this Monday he enters high school . So Sunday night he will enjoy this gem for the first time!!!

To kick off my senior year, I watched this movie a month back, and I gotta say, this easily is one of the best coming-of-age teen comedies I’ve ever seen in my life. And also, this movie holds one of the most genuine and authentic friendships in cinema history between Hill and Cera.

I can’t believe this movie is 17 years old. I graduated H.S. in 2007 so this film especially holds alot of sentiment to me. It was the last time I remember almost pissing my pants in a movie theatre. They don’t make original comedies like this anymore :/

Storytime: When I was 15 this movie came to theaters, and my younger brother and I had to see it. Asked our parents to see it, and they bought the tickets and dropped us off. We walked to the ticket taker and he took the tickets, and we thought we were in the clear. As we were walking, he asked to see my ID. I told him "I forgot it" and he said...."Okay, well just don't come out of the theater." I said alright, and off to find a seat. My younger brother needed to take a piss about 30 minutes into the movie, and I told him "go ahead and go, screw it." He was about to walk into the hallway, but when he opened the door, someone saw him and watched him come sit back down. The rest of the movie, a different employee would come in and stare at us for a good 60 seconds, and leave. Literally the worst movie going experience of my life. Great movie though. I watched it comfortably when it came out on "DVD" and it was amazing. That menu though.
