Can I direct this question directly to Editor Warren Rossiter? I'm assuming Pinarello asked what size frame you needed for this test. I know it's a 57.5cm, but I was wondering how tall you are and what your inseam measurement is. I'm considering a Pinarello for my next bike and I've found that their geometry and sizing is a bit different from most other manufactures with an especially tall stack. I'm 193.5cm tall with a 94.2cm inseam. Thank you.

Sorry but these DTSwiss wheels are too thin, the tire protrude and kill any aero benefits. They need to revise them for the 25+ mm tires currently used. No comment on the Fulcrum an insult in your face for the price with these exposed nipples. Lastly disc wheels have a much higher spoke count resulting in weight increase (rotational at that) and shite aero. You can keep both of these, I need a bike that performs not one that looks good, sorry.
@steveco1800

Get better fork compliance on a rim brake bike as well because doesn't have to be able to take all the braking force at the end of the fork. Nice to have a fast, simple and light road bike that cost a tenth of this Pinarello. Got discs on everything other than my dry weather road bike though.
@janeztomazic5546
@janeztomazic5546 4 года назад
they are one of the fastest wheels out there, also if you want aero why the hell would you ride 25mm, another bullshit by the bike industry like the discs, 23 front every time
@st939
@st939 4 года назад
@@janeztomazic5546 25mm with an appropriately sized wheel width is not only more aero but also has lower rolling resistance (adsorbing road irregularities better), hence faster.
@janeztomazic5546
@janeztomazic5546 4 года назад
@@st939 you see, they got you to but its just not true. Also lower rolling resistance is only if you put the same pressure in 25 like you do in 23 but you would never do that. We have tests for everything. www.hambini.com/testing-to-find-the-fastest-bicycle-wheels/ www.bicyclerollingresistance.com/specials/grand-prix-5000-comparison Read this and you will get it, I also believed the propaganda before I did my own research. 23 front 25 back is the best combo for aero and comfort, this is what pros ride in time trials and also recommended by swis side which are one of the fastest wheels out there
@st939
@st939 4 года назад

I bought a cube litening c68xpro late November 2020. I was instantly very impressed with the finish of the bike. Putting the obvious things aside like the reliable and trustworthy Ultegra Di2 to one side, the finish of the frame is extremely impressive. I had just sold my Tarmac SL6 pro disc to get one of these, and I hear many of you asking "wtf" but I had my reasons. So far I am not disappointed one single bit. I know of nobody in my neck of the woods with a cube this cool, I like the finish of the matt carbon weave and stealth black and white get up. It goes with any kit and isn't in your face. The integrated set up is awesome too, I had been desperate to finally get on a machine with no cables flapping about and no botched heat shrink tubing. I was pretty set on getting myself a set of Hunt 50mm wheels for this, which I did almost immediately. I sold the Newmen alloy wheels which came with the bike, but after doing so actually thought to myself "they were actually half decent wheels" anyway my new Hunts look the mutts nuts on this weapon and just cant wait to get out in some decent weather. I have had it out on a couple of dry winter rides in Scotland and have been super impressed all round, really does feel quick on the flats and certainly didn't feel like I was missing my Tarmac on the climbs either. Im heading off to Spain in a couple of weeks with it, so will look forward to really putting it through its paces. A couple of things I would mention though are that Cube seem to be a bit of a nightmare to get a hold of. I sent numerous e-mails through their website and still have not had a reply. Fortunately the shop I bought the bike from (rutland cycling) have been pretty helpful. I wanted to get hold of a spare hanger should the worst happen and they got one sent within 3 days of my e-mail. I should also mention that I have invisitaped the frame. There is no pre cut mould for this frame from invis so I just bought a generic road bike kit which has been perfect for covering the underside of the downtube, top tube, forks, chainstays and bottom bracket area. I know my version isn't the SLT model but for £3999 (I paid £3699) with a discount at rutland, nothing out there can touch this spec. keep in mind I added a set of £850 Hunt wheels and changed out the saddle for a pro turnix carbon rail saddle I think I am sitting on a lot of bike for the money. Here is to some happy riding!
@jimmyhor78

I have bought the exact same model. It will be delivered late March here in Denmark. (3.245 £ at the local bike shop) A wheel and saddle swap and I got myself a top notch bike for half the price of the most expensive brands. What about the sizing? I am Specialized size 58. (I have a Crux and an Allez) and have ordered a Cube in size 58.
@alistairbooth2848
@alistairbooth2848 4 года назад
@@csigersted great choice, you will not be disappointed. I am currently out in Spain on a training camp and have been riding some fantastic roads and big climbs and this bike is handling everything with ease and style. I upgraded to carbon hunt wheels and changed the saddle also. I was a 58 with my Tarmac SL6 and have gone 58 with the Cube and fits perfectly. Enjoy it when it arrives.

Frame weight, is the weight of the frame only. The firm weight is normally quoted separately. A very lightweight carbon frame is around 650g! There a probably lighter ones than that but they are not many!
