You guys need to know how lucky we are to be able to have an analog frequency shifter at that price. Look up prices for other Bode Frequency Shifter clones and you will have sticker shock. Analogue Systems was selling a eurorack one for $2200. For one module.

At some point he's going to enter the modular pantheon that includes Buchla, Serge, and Moog. He is so prolific it's amazing.

Nice guy - great modules!

I have the old Light Sensitive module and the old frequency shifter. So great to see he’s updated it. We all need to convince them to make the breakout! Although he didn’t show it, if you setup a feedback patch and use something like the A-110-4 as an external modulator running really slowly, use up and down outputs in stereo… and it’s Phase Shifty goodness! 🙀

The form factor on the doepfer keybeds is something ive been after for a while (i once cut a mpk in half lol). I wish they made a 73 or 61 key version. I really like this guys creations 🙌🏽

Happy with every Doepfer I’ve ever used. They do “compact” gracefully.

The Doepfer Effect - really like the sound (arp/seq) @5:40 and then 30 secs later . . . oooh yeah, very danceable .. Mr D should be out giggin’ - like the Fatar keyboard and the chord module. I’m just learning more about modular . . surprised to see the light sensor - my favourite effect on my Stylophone 350s that I’ve cherished from childhood. I’ve recently entered modestly into modular with a Minibrute 2s and a 6u case (still empty). Enjoying learning and exploring it, can sound a bit harsh, which is fine for heavy Techno, my preference is minimal from Detroit to Berlin and beyond. I conjured up this cheeky little number a couple of weeks ago ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-ckqk_RRil-4.html I’m really drawn towards Møog sound (another childhood thing) the Dfam & Subharmonican are interesting. Any advice much needed and very appreciated. Nearly forgot. . Great piece of work Nick, I could watch much more of the same, Mr D was brilliant at explaining things, even I was understanding it. As everyone here has already said, Dieter Doepfer is a a legend, no nonsense just great (dependable) modules and very reasonable prices. And, to put all that in perspective, browsing other Superbooth sales videos, you'll often notice companies demonstrating new ideas and modules often have a few Doepfer modules in their racks. What better advertising than that!
