Nice! Thanks for this info! And to answer your question about a faster way to get the query formulas, it's actually really easy. Just select the query you want the info on and then click "Advanced Editor" which is under the "Home" tab and in the "Query" section of the ribbon. I asked Chat GPT and it gave me the answer lol.

To do this quicker, when you are in the power query editor, go into the advanced editor for each table and CTRL+C, make sure you are on the last step in the applied steps pane. Between "let" and "in", highlight starting where is says =Source {[...]}{[...}] then CTRL+C. Then you can do a WIN + V to bring up the clipboard to show everything you just copied. Then you can see all the items you just copied. Then click to paste into your text editor of choice. Should make this process a bit faster.

So I’m new to power BI and for whatever reason, I cannot import my excel data (online and desktop) into BI (also either online or desktop). I’m sure it’s my companies network, but there has to be a workaround otherwise I have to copy and paste data into BI which isn’t the productivity level I want to continue with. Is there a workaround so I always have a HRM TD and attrition dashboard that updates when new data is placed in the excel homepage?

Hi, is the excel on your local drive? You should be able to select 'get data' and connect directly to the file. What error message are you getting ?

Hi, you can usually say "please continue" when ChatGPT doesn't finish the response. Unless you're getting other issues?

If you select multiple queries you can use ctr copy and paste the info in a notepad and you get all the code

Excuse me, but if you have to work this hard to make up a prompt, then have you saved any time? A lot of people are just trying to build up their RU-vid subscribers on top of the hype.

You're right that the prompts can take some time, although I do think it allows for more creative thinking and can give you ideas. This is also one of the first iterations, this stuff will only get better and easier!
