I just came across your comment you want to get a supercharger on your car I just brought me a supercharger I got it last week I bought a heart beat Magnus let me tell you all the things you going to need that they don't tell you in a video you going to need a ZL1 fuel pump and you're going to need a ADM Fpcm Magnuson is a little bit more but it comes with injectors and you'll be much happier when it comes to your wallet I already investigated the Whipple and by the time they finish ringing of the Bell it was $11,000 and that's not leaving with installation insulation on the supercharger runs you about $2,000 to 1500 oh one more thing you going to need a tune and that's about $550 and a program that little module that's $50 in total for the Magnus I end up spinning 8500
This is a damn good sleeper can’t wait until I can afford a Camaro and I’m doing this exact build bc I love a actual root supercharger like whipple and I google and stayed trying to find videos on a whipple 5th Gen SS but there not really out there but glad I found this video bc as soon as I can afford a Camaro I’m calling you’ll up can’t wait until that day happens 🙏🏾💪🏾
I really like the whipple alot. It's very responsive specially on the street. It also feels like a stock car from factory with the added power. Let me know and I will try and beat any price for you.
I love mine in my auto hit 538rwhp and 550wtq. I have a tsp supercharged cam stage 2 cam kit on the shelf also ordering a fore dual pump fuel system with 1000cc injectors. Hit these guys up they will take care of you. I’m headed to 700+
Love your video's!!! You guys do a great job. All the rides and hot rods are super awesome. Keep up the great work!!! I couldn't do the test driving part of your job cause I'd be on the red line every gear and getting tickets.
Awesome I’ve had my wipple in a box for a couple of moths, I did not want to install it till I got a new clutch and fly wheel. But all that is in a box also. I do travel a lot and I like to things my self. But any thanks for sharing this video it makes me exited to install this unit in my car. I have AFE tri-y headers and exhaust cuts out with a little tune. I’m still trying to decide if I should get a custom grind cam for this blower.
I aM new to the fast car world and I just picked up a 2014 SS Camaro that I would like some advise on. I live in California so my options are limited. 1 it has straight pipes 2. No X or Y pipe 3 cold air intake 4. Throttle body spacer What are some bolt on modification that I can do to get more power.I am going to do a whipple super charge as soon as I can find someone that seems like a good reputation shop. Would a spark plug and wire change in crease the horse power at all? Any shop recommendations near Sacramento, CA would be appreciated. Kevin
Don't know any shops up there. A whipple is a good choice lmk when you ready and I'll try and beat any price. So get the headers that will help you a great deal when you get the blower. You can also do a cam swap but cali may be strict on that. Honestly i think you should use stock wires, coil packs and colder plugs when your blown
@@HPPRACING I appreciate the advise, most pipes are not allowed here in California. I am not finding to many people here in sacrament that are helpful or want to help. What does the cam upgrade do for power? Kevin
So , mileage is hard to tell. Depending on hills and so on. If you drive normal they just lose a little bit. It's when your in boost that you see like 3 Mpg or so less
Quick question boss. I have a N/A big cam from btr. Im really looking at an LSA or maybe a whipple. Would i need to change that cam out for a boost ready cam ?
@@HPPRACING the cam ? Yes it's on my channel! Haven't been on lately because of work but i definitely want to upload more. Im aiming towards boosting it within the next couple of months hopefully
A white 1LE 5th Gen is what I want so bad. But I had a nearly fatal wreck in 2017 that shattered my pelvis and after they fixed me I can't drive a manual transmission. If you can make 650whp with a Whipple, headers, cam and tune that is impressive. Was the stock dual mode exhaust kept?
@@HPPRACING Thanks brother, it's all good. If I was going to get an auto Camaro now it would have to be the 10 speed. Those cars are insanely fast. It makes my transmissions in my Trailblazer and RCSB seem inadequate.
@@HPPRACING awe I really appreciate it. The whipple I am looking at is priced at a little over 7,000. I can afford the boost Camshaft and tune, but there is no way I can make that payment of 7,000 right now.
Is this car still on stock internals? If so how has it held up? Cause I’ve been wanting too boost my ss but it’s my daily driver and I drive about 20k miles a year and I’m worried about reliability of it
@@fugitive8777 For sure! I didn't mean to sound like a smart ass. Just from factory ti the wheels horsepower 8s usually 18-24% depending in Stick or Auto
