hey i have a 96 civic ex and just got a b18c1 could i use the the ecu that was in there it was a d16y8 that was in there

Daniel Difresne it will run lean but you can get buy if it’s a vtec ecu. I would look for a chipped p28 or a p72 ecu to get your motor running properly

Maybe he was going for the '94-'95 JDM DC look.... Its the same as USDM. Thats what I always say to people who are like "yo do a 'jdm' conversion" to every DC teg owner.

Toki -EJ1 This is a 98-01 front end tho. 94-95 jdm front is the same as the 94-97 usdm front

I like the 4 headlight style the most so it stayed. I don’t like the JDM style front

LHTPerformance . The guy on BESIM X CARS channel has a supercharged Integra that’s really nice. I was watching his videos and he mentioned he wanted an Intercooler for his. Do a collab with him! Get him an intercooler! Would be a cool video!

What turbo setup we're you running on your B18?

@@joee4894 Been a while since I had the car. What I do remember was it was a Percision turbo. Don't remember the exact size because it was changed a few times.

@@ELIDOTORG I agree, if you built a car putting out 700+hp I'm pretty sure you remember what upgrades you had for the most part especially if it's a precision turbo. Ebay turbo I can understand if you say you don't know the size

Allen Anderson depends on the turbo. With today’s technology you have turbo’s like Borgwarner EFR’s in all sizes which has insanely quick transient response and spool really fast, while still having top end power

Very good ear sir. It's also pinging in low speed/load. Another issue I have with builders is when they have the money for buy go-pros and tunes but not enough common sense to reinforce the engine mounts and not touch the distributor rotor with greasy hands. Also, who the fuk gets a supercharger and runs 1.5lbs of boost lol

Supercharging are more circuit racing because u have consistent boost, more throttle response, and torque in lowere and mid range. Turbo lag makes car on circuit track a lot more tricky to drive.

@@gracelynchristopher7858 truth is that the Jackson racing supercharger is big fat garbage. It's great for making a stock motor have over 200 whp, but it can't go much further beyond that. I've seen people claim 300, but I've never seen anyone get there and I'm too lazy to look rn. The simple fact of the mater is the jsrc set up is too small to put up big power figures. If you ever look at turbos and superchargers, they're never rated in PSI. they're rated in HP, because ultimately that's what they'll do. Hook up a 650hp turbo to a d series and that lil guy will try it's hardest to get there, even if that means no boost till 7000rpm. A turbo rated at 300 hp will starve the fuck out of an LS1, on the other hand. Jsrc set ups are great for hearing a super charger whine, and flattening your power curve, but that's about it.
