Videos like this is a big part of the reason I watch you guys. Us DIYers are learning all the time and I'm 50yrs. old. Started out building fast motorcycles for years,,mostly single cylinder race bike engines 2 then 4 strokes to outboard engines. Finally diagnosed my daily..yeah its a 2010 Jetta,,don't hate..lol! I love the interior quality and how those cars drive but I prefer a Honda, or Datsun/Nissan engine. I also love American muscle for hot rods..Thanks for all you guys do on your channel..Fabrication vids have been great as well.

@@DashnCars he really tried, I mean he spent hours trying to figure it out but even the chip is weird. It's a P06 with an old OEM chip that only starts with that chip but intermittently starts with other chips. We had issues with VTEC also.
@@spankthemonkey3437 the V6 would be longitudinally mounted like in a Legand. Twins could be mounted like any RWD car. Could be mounted above the engine like Leroy for that matter.

This is true, but I already know it'd be a K series because they're an awesome engine and very capable engines, but it's already old seeing them under the hood of EVERYTHING. Dare to be different, J32 swap with turbos. I went built LSVTEC in my EJ8 Civic coupe. 612 whp on a conservative tune.
I'm a diesel guy, own and race a few of them. Never would I have guessed I would be interested in watching a channel that is into what I use to call "rice rockets". But I have so much respect for you Brent and your PFI crew. Your attitude and positivity is contagious. Don't tell my friends, but I actually was looking at Hondas on the old craigslist the other night.

Yes it would be nasty with a front wheel drive V8 but it would be even better to see you finally run that number with a 4cyl. Like you said technology has came a long way since you built that car and it's now possible

I was disappointed that it was an NA vehicle as well. Some dudes swap in a v6 tho cuz they want more power and to keep it NA. btw If brent isnt going to use a honda powerplant in the bully, fuck a boring LS itd be dope to see what he could do with a boosted 2JZ bolted to that thing lol!!!
We appreciate all the extra hard work you guys have to do so we can watch what you are up to. Lot of work to tape and edit not to mention all the money spent to keep all those cars running at peak performance. Then there are the safety risks too multiplied by all the different cars. Seeing the dyno stats during the pull is super helpful. Please show more aspects of the dyno screens as you go through your efforts talking about changes in air/fuel and timing. Awesome stuff.

I agree but looks like it would have more room if you wrapped it around the back (maybe not possible on a car thats not fully shaved though). I can see it now though, big twin scroll EFR 8474 internally gated to look super tidy in that bay.

The Bully needs a Monster Precision Turbo nasty vtech V6. Love what you guys are doing, was great being beside you in the Cole truck in the pits, and super awesome to be behind The Pfi Prelude When it launched off into the atmosphere , At Houston Raceway In Baytown Texas. It was Hot as hell and super humid man, even us locals had terrible issues of our own. That's racing! I'm just gonna keep Watching, Doing, and sharing What you and Cleetus do, And keep on keeping on , on my little journey with my Volvo wagon. Just 700.That's all!

Came here to say so, and it seems I'm not alone in this: the Bully needs a J. It's such a widely available and inexpensive motor, but is still far from mainstream in the performance scene, especially turbocharged. I'm sure I speak for the majority when I say I learn so much from these videos and all of you at PFI, and would really enjoy being along for the ride of building a turbo J.

Really digging all the vids! Doesn't matter to me what your working on as long as the vibe is right and there's knowledge to be had. Would love to see a marketplace cheapy buy/build. Something us guys who are interested in the Honda game could snag and do in the garage on the weekend. Brent ya probably wont read this but ya should turn off the AEM wideband control so you can see what your AFR really is. I see it constantly adding 10% fuel to keep ya in check. Love the videos as always though, keep up the awesome work!
