I remember the day when JFK died. I came in from recess and the lights were out. The kindergarten teacher had been crying. The principal came over the loudspeaker and informed us of JKF's assassination in Dallas. I remember hearing the girls in the 5th/6th grade classes up the hallway screaming. We were sent home. It was a gray day (literally, cloud covered outside). I walked home mid-day. I remember my Dad coming home from work and, standing at the back door of our home, crying (only second time in my life I ever saw him do that). Then, years later, I woke up, came upstairs, and my Mom was sitting crying on the couch. "Mom! What's wrong?" She replied, "They shot Bobby Kennedy!" Listen... I am a die-hard Republican, but I loved those two men. And I love RFK's son -- again -- as a Republican. So, see? We can cross we aisle. And I would vote for RFK Jr. ahead of Trump or any Republican candidate to this day.

I'm a 35 year old father of four who was raised by democratic voting parents yet has begrudgingly voted only for republicans in presidential elections(didn't get my absentee ballet in 2012 while in Afghanistan, but wouldn't have votes anyways). That being said, I'm switching my party affiliation from "independent" to "democrat" so I can vote for this man both in the primary and general election God willing! He'll also be the first candidate whose campaign I contribute my hard earned money to as well.! I truly hope he is able to carry on the work of his father and uncle that they were never able to live to achieve!
