Thanks for diving back into Superfruit. It's a lighter, crazier, edgier, and generally more simple approach to music than what would fly in PTX. Rise (a Katy Perry Cover) featuring Brian Justin Crum, Mary Lambert, and Mario Jose will blow off your socks. There is a Frozen Medley (featuring Kirstie) that is hilarious, as is their cover of Defying Gravity from Wicked. Other medleys (Empire, Anti Medley, Hip Hop Goes Broadway - Parts 1 and 2), and lots of their own original music (Goodbye from Lonely, GUY.EXE, Imaginary Parties).

I’m not a huge Lady Gaga fan, but I was surprised by how many I knew and how much I enjoy this one! In addition to his amazing voice, Mitch has an uncanny ability to match the tone and timbre of many singers, which is so cool in their evolution videos. The entire Sup3rfruit album is 🔥🔥🔥. There isn’t a weak song on it, and they all have videos; ‘Vacation’ and ‘Imaginary Parties’ are my faves ( along with‘Goodbye from Lonely’, but another commenter already mentioned that gem!)

Superfruit is another side to their personalities - entirely different style from PTX. They were free-er to express their true personalities - some of their videos are moving, some are really really funny - they are all fun -- and pro tip - let it play after the close - there are outtakes that are golden.

I love Scott's soulful voice and his huge range, but Mitch. The timber, clarity, agility, and what I assume is pitch perfect talent is amazing.

They didn't put credits on this one, other than the studio, but that's probably Scott on the piano. He plays when they are working out the arrangements. So for these studio sessions, Scott records the piano, then he and Mitch sing. Or maybe they sing then he does the piano. I don't know how they manage to coordinate with all the pauses and tempo changes, but I suppose the editors can do some adjusting.

Did you notice that it's a one-take video? The whole medley in one-take!!!! I always find that just astonishing. And I just love the way their voices complement each other so well. Also - be sure to watch all the way to end - most Superfruit videos have bloopers that are super fun :)

Always watch past the “subscribe” screen for Superfruit-they almost always have bloopers or outtakes!

I LOVE everything Superfruit!!! Superfruit is so different than pentatonix. Mitch and Scott are both beyond amazing, but yes I always am drawn to Mitch’s voice. The next superfruit video should be Empire Medly, Defying Gravity and Feeling Myself!!! They are all completely unique!

I agree at that point in their careers Mitch was head and tails above the rest of the group as far as vocal talent goes. But in the past 2ish years that gap has closed a lot. Scott has lost that nasal pop sound and his voice is more raspy and powerful. Of the OG's Kirstie is by far the most improved. Back during their early days, I always felt that she was their weakest link. But now I put her second behind Mitch. Her voice is so rich and strong. And Matt has gotten so much more confident and is taking more solo moments and his smooth R&B tone is fantastic. Kevin is always a rock star but even his voice has come along way.

Superfruit always have bloopers after the "Subscribe" sign. You will not regret sticking around for them. Fans really look forward to the bloopers being part of your reaction. If you haven't already, please do Superfruit's "Empire Medley". I didn't know any of the songs, yet this is one of my favorites. I'm not alone. Love your reactions. Glad to see you back.

Great to see you again! I don’t know all the songs either, but who cares if Mitch is singing, I’m there. Everyone in the group agrees that Mitch is the best singer. Kirstie even said once that she was so glad that the world would get to hear him. She cried while saying it. If you want to hear an awesome solo from Mitch you should check out his cover of YOUR POWER by Billie Eilish. He shot it on his roof during Covid. Off topic, but Disturbed just released a video for DON’T TELL ME ft Ann Wilson from Heart. It’s an amazing power ballad. All I can say….💔😭 look forward to your next reaction. PTX…or DISTURBED. 🤗💋🥰

👉👉👉RULE OF THUMB! The majority of SuperFruit videos have bloopers at the end SO WATCH TILL THE END!! I don't see mitch being far ahead of Scott vocally. Mitch is a countrr tenor, because of this his voice has the ability to go very high and thin that makes it sound feminine. Scott is a baritone, he sings bass when Avi or Matt have a singing lead and can easily hit high falsettos. I get why mitch gets a lot of hype. His voice is quite unique for a male singer and is amazing. Also, I want you to know that Scott can hit SUPER High notes as well though he is more soulful. PLEASE react to "Lose Us" by Rozzi ft. Scott Hoying. Rozzi Crane (Raw-zee short for Roselyn) is one of Scott's besties from his very short stint in college. (Short stint because he formed PTX and went on the Sing Off Show) Rozzi is PHENOMENAL she and Scott together areIND BLOWING. Kirstie has solo stuff Kevin does as well and Scott put out an EP last year, the official videos and music is on his channel. Avi of course has his solo stuff As does Matt (who promised solo side projects this year) And mitch has solo music as Messer

I would love you to react to SuperFruit's Hip Hop Goes Broadway 1 and 2, "Empire Medley", and their original music video named "guy.exe" it's so Camp! Please watch through to the end. Most of these have bloopers that are hysterical. LOVE your reaction to these two amazing voices.. Thanks!

Good to see you doing more Superfruit. Other great ones are Frozen (featuring Kirsty and not to be missed - especially the bloopers), Defying Gravity (Mitch is outstanding) and their excellent original, Guy.exe. Since you want to listen to a wide range of music, try the equally good Forestella. Like Pentatonix they sing anything brilliantly and have a stunning counter tenor and bass. They're a South Korean male crossover quartet and all the singers and musical arrangements are brilliant. Bad Romance, Bohemian Rhapsody, Sound Of Silence and Scarborough Fair are all good places to start. Their originals are also outstanding.

I'm surprised you don't already have a bunch of comments about watching SuperFruit videos to the end because there are bloopers. Note: that is just for these vlog videos. The official music videos for the songs from their Future Friends album do not.

Although other of your fans have mentioned Superfruit best songs, which I believe you will absolutely get a great experience with, you need to watch this video of Pentatonix AHA live performance, as it's the only one. It was done on a camera phone, and no other of this performance exists. This was Mitch, jet lagged and a few red bulls in...he did such and amazing job and really gave his all to the audience that night. And Avi did too...evidently his voice got so low he blew out a speaker...Kevin was offstage, when he was putting away his cello when things erupted. but he was still there doing his thing, you just need to listen and hear him doing it backstage Scott does great beatboxing while waiting for Kevin to step in though. But get it a listen, I know you would enjoy this.

I love Superfruit. Check out their. Empire Medley, Their Anti medley is great. It’s every song on Rihanna’s Anti albums. It’s fire They do one called Beyoncé. It’s every song on the Beyonce album If you know the play Wicked. Mitch and Scott sing defying Gravity from wicked. Mitch is astonishing in it and it’s super fun

Both Mitch AND Scott are geniuses! The reason you’re so enamored with Mitch is because he is a countertenor with a huge upper register. But Scott is a baritone and yet he too has a huge range and virtuosity!

Guy.exe is fun. It is lighthearted while good at the same time. I personally remember Rocky Horror ( I saw the movie many many times in college) and the lab scenes. It is Superfruit for sure

Superfruit is the Not Safe For Work side of PTX. The guys are a lot of fun and they explore so many things that the Family Friendly PTX can't. Many of the pieces are funny and explore a lot of styles, LGTBQ+ issues or poke a bit of fun at things. ALWAYS check to see if there are bloopers after the big "subscribe" logo...they're priceless!
