WB have had access to all their characters unlike Disney with Marvel yet Marvel turned a bunch of B Listers and C Listers into house hold names and created a multi billion dollar franchise yet WB can't even make a successful JL movie. At least the solo films are awesome and at least the CW shows at least have a more interconnected universe than the DCEU.

Because WB thinks their audience were stupid to not be able to know that the movie and TV versions are different universes. That's why they took away Deadshot, Ananda Waller, Deathstroke, The Suicide Squad, Captain Boomerang, etc. from the Arrowverse. They compromised the plots in Arrow and it's why Deathstroke story arc with his son has gone unresolved. They let cw use him again only to change there minds and stop it.

That's normally how to get away with CGI is cut and paste who's using the ability or item when it comes the TV. Which is also the reason why play like reusing sets less cut and paste

Painted foam or plastic definitely dont take a lot of time and it is definitely better, than a bad CGI, that disappears into his back while wearing clothes and probably weighs nothing, otherwise he would be leaning back from all that weight gathered on his back.

I take it you've somehow forgotten about John Shea's version from "Lois & Clark". THAT was the quintessential Lex Luthor in live-action.

Yeah but the guy had no War Suit, so this one is more "complete", if I may say so. Also he didnt shave his head. Even though that is just a visual qeue, well you got a specific character to portray, with very iconic and recognisable visuals, which Shea didnt have. Like that dick GeneHackman who refused to shae his head for the role.

Eisenberg’s Luthor was just wrong on every level. I’m still wondering how the hell he knew sneaking into the derelict Kryptonian ship with Zod, then bleeding all over it was gonna create Doomsday. WTF did the ship even allow him to use the tech, I guess Krypton tech needs better security features.

I’ve been watching since SG was on CBS, and it’s gotten better, slowly.

Jarrod Edson Luthor has had a couple different looks in the comics, so giving him a beard isn’t breaking canon or anything.
