Supergirl 6x20 Lex Defeats himself 

Well that was Anticlimactic

It's like a zoom at the end.

Lex is an interesting villain because he's afraid yet he's rich...

In the Arrowverse when was the last time the hero actually defeated the enemy? Genuine question they always seem to get beat by outiside interference a lot of help or beat them selves while the hero gets left on the side lol

That was both easy and anti-climatic.

so Lena did foreshadow Lex failing because of his own hubris (6x03)

Lex Luthor didn't care one bit if he had to kill little kids in National City for standing up to him and his evil ways in this adventure. Good that he was defeated along with that lady imp.

I don’t even care if it was anti climatic because seeing Lex’s actions immediately backfire is too funny

I think that Lex should just consider this now a big true punishment really for him being so really responsible for the terrible death of his mother.

So much for a portal that, once opened, cannot be closed. But at least in the Phantom Zone, Lex will have Nyxly for company and vice-versa... a REAL chance to show his undying love for her. They had some good moments in the series, but this was a total waste. When you have a team, let them fight it out. Of course, the point they were going for is that the totems were power siphons and somehow folks could take back the power. Which means that the all-stone was actually a pretty weak plot device. If this is an example of the current generation of screenwriters I feel sorry for the movie industry. The viewing public will take only so much drivel on the plate before they stop attending movies.

This season just ruined Jon Cryer's Lex Luthor, Cryer was still trying his all with his performance, but the writers thought it was a good idea to turn his character from an evil mastermind into a love sick Cailiou, it took all that was great about his Lex, and flushed it down the toilet. What a terrible way to write him off.

How ironic. But this destroys any chance of Lex making an appearance in superman and lois.

So anticlimactic. I was excited to see a big fight scene but it didn’t come.

If Lex ever does make it out of the phantom zone, the next best place to imprison him would be ARGUS. The super friends have friends there like Lyla and Cisco. Lex wouldn't be able to manipulate or bribe anyone to let him out of there like he did in season 4.
