It's more than likely that Mon El entered a time portal that may have been created by The Legion of Superheroes and will become a member. In the comics, there is a cure but he has to drink a serum every 8 hours. I hope he will take the name Valor like in the comics and probably some kind of major event will bring him back to 21st Earth to help Kara

or it could have been a portal into the phantom zone since originally he was poisoned by Kal by mistake (worst prank EVER btw) and therefore had to go into the phantom zone so that the poison wouldn't spread and kill him. honestly, I'd be fine with both

Chris Moore it is true. Supergirl is stronger than Superman. This has been proven multiple times and in different universes such as the Injustice 2 game. Superman gets defeated and pummeled by her and even becomes the new leader of the Justice League re formed and Earths newest champion. Superman gets locked away in the phantom zone. And in this show Superman literally tells Supergirl she is stronger in every way and fought her with her all and the intention to kill her since he thought she was Zod. He was holding nothing back and the kryptonite used on him did not effect his fighting ability, only his mind.

The show is not the comic. In the comics, Supergirl and Mon-El didn't exactly have a very deep romantic relationship. They may go that way or they may not. I doubt they will have him be married and I doubt they will introduce Brainiac 5 as yet another romantic interest for Kara.

For those who are mad about supergirl beating superman, its not actually unheard of. In the comics she did beat him one time. The way it was explained though was that supergirl, doesn't hold back like clark does, so she was using all of her power. Clark on the other hand, whether he realizes he is doing it or not, psychologically, holds himself back due to life experience, and as such, is not as powerful as he should be. This was shown later in the comics where he unleashed his full power and was ridiculously powerful. So yeah, now, kara can beat clark, but thats not all of his power

It would be pretty cool if one of her WorldKillers turns out to be the ancestor of Shadow Lass with a huge hate-on for Kara. And then Shadow Lass comes to 21st century National City as Mon-El's new girlfriend (or wife if they follow the comics). Drama ensues...

Mon-El in the comics couldn't handle Earth's lead levels and was put in the phantom zone until a cure could be found.

Monel went though a BOOM TUBE. In other tellings this is where he meets the team that trains him to become a hero. Also the baby in the pod is believed to be Rein. One of Supergirl's greatest enemies.

its baby girl her name is reign Reign is a Worldkiller, biological weapons created in Krypton and eventually outlawed by the Kryptonian Science Council. Reign and other four Worldkillers were created by Zor-El, who later came to regret his part in the creation of those blood-thirsty, super-powerful monsters.

My theory: that wasn't a normal wormhole Mon'El went into. I think it sent him to the future somehow and the next time you see him, it will have him in his Legion outfit

Am I the only one getting a Doomsday Vibe from that ending scene. Because from what I know, Doomsday was used to be a baby and was sent out to die, resurrected, and then becomes immune to his last death.

The writers said that in a actual combat Superman would have won easily but the only reason supergirl won is because it would not make any sense if Superman is the fighter in the final battle of Supergirl’s serie

Most of the people who comment are men who defend something indefensible. Supergirl had years living in Krypton, she is more adapted to the Kryptonite he does not. accept the reality that she is stronger. They sold the superman for a long time and that is why they want to defend him, it seems stupid.

I think others already said for the evil baby at the end, based on quote "it will REIGN," the best theories are either: 1. Reign, the World Killers' leader, Supergirl villain in SG New 52 2. Doomsday. As for the Supergirl or Superman would win thing. I honestly think no point in comparing, its about as pointless as Superman v. Batman, or Superman v. Wonder Woman, etc, etc competitions. They all fight evil to protect the innocent, and make the world a better place. Can we just treat them as good friend/allies, and leave at that?

it is established in the comics and cartoons that Supergirl is stronger than Superman, in the comic book Superman/Batman, Vol. 2: Supergirl (which is adapted to the animated Superman/Batman: Apocalypse), also I think the breach that opened for Mon-El is the Phantom Zone as he has spent a long time there in the comics, and the baby is probably a character called Reign, originally in the comics she was created by Kara's father Zor-El as a weapon.

I'm glad Supergirl beat superman, in the comics batman said that she could be stronger than superman either due to gender differences in absorbing solar radiation or her spending longer on krypton. Reign is one of the 5 world killers she is the leader of the 4 known ones the 5th is unknown and is thought to be doomsday, and I'm so glad they finally have a Supergirl villain for season 3.

I am pretty sure Mon-El is going to the 31st Century to join the Legion of Super-heroes. They have teased the ring in past episodes. I know people want to say the baby is Doomsday, but I am pretty sure it's H'el from the Superman family crossover in the comics. Basically H'el was a mix of Bizarro and Zod.

the only thing that annoies me to a degree is the fact, that the actress who played maggie left and that means that we will probably have alex in season 3 say some line about how she left her at the alter or cheated on her or left her in some general fashion.

I hope that whether its Doomsday or Reign that it only lasts half the season, cause like the flash all the villains are pretty similar with them being all from krypton or speedsters. What could be good is that this new enemy causes Kara to become full of rage then which means she becomes a red lantern like in the comics, which is how they could bring in the lantern corps, though for that they'd have to introduce both the red and green corps as well as some main members of them which could be too much for half a season I guess.

I will bow out to the fact Supergirl is probably stronger than Superman......but at her current experience with her powers compared to Clark's I don't think she couldn't beat him...let alone with only 1 building being partially destroyed. Have the writers seen any fight with either of the Supes....THEY BREAK AT LEAST 5 BUILDINGS DOING IT. Lol

it is unrealistic that she beat superman cause he literally by fact is said that he always wins cause his limit is unlimited, basically he just has to try harder and then he wins against whoever, like with doomsday and stuff, but I'm okay with it if they just don't constantly put supergirl's power over superman cause he's the more powerful kryptonian, no feminist against womens rights type of crap cause I always thought girls were as good as guys but there is no better gender, just the overlooked one that's been like that for so long, I get it and I'm 14 I just wished they stuck to the comic realism that supergirl is capable but mono e mono wouldn't actually beat superman, other than that I'm okay with it as long as it isn't put out that cw's superman is weaker than cw's supergirl, you know?

Even if she is stronger than him, I didn't think the fight made sense because he has so much more experience than she does. He's been superman for a decade and she's been supergirl for a year and a half. Not to mention he's absorbed more yellow sun than she has in their lives.

Both have same powers so both would have limitless strength and superman and supegirl both lost to others before.By the way martian manhunter in tv show is more powerful then superman and supergirl.He beat a supergirl that was bad last season.In comics i think superman is still more powerful then supergirl but for the cw dc universe supergirl is equal or more powerful then superman.

Javier Castillo 1. Plot reasons. 2. I don't think she can travel dimensions. Barry got back to Earth 1 by combining his speed with Kara's. Kara can't do it alone and I don't think the DEO has a portal to transverse different Earths. Monel will be back.

i think that super girl is more powerful then superman, as similarly season 1 finale it states that superman is more human. which can be seen as superman was effected by myriad and super girl wasn't. and plus not talking about this, would've been better if they could've sent mon-el to earth -1 through the breach

I watched the supergirl comicon panel and the baby who was sent off w as reign also i think there is something wrong with that pod because that pod was supergirls that got knocked off course and then when mon'el was in it it went through that breach

Not talking actors talking their characters. comics John would be in his 40's and Megan late teens. Tv show Megan's character would be in her 20's. Yes I know if we do the Martian years they are both well into their hundreds. lol. Just seems out of place coming from a JLA/Teen Titans perspective. Yes I know this is WB not comic's so not canon (covering all basis before some fan boy jumps lol) but still just comes off as awkward to me is all.
