Why shouldn't you say it? Any idea how many times this is said about male characters like Henry Cavill? Fuck the double standard, say whatever you want. That is your God given right.
She was literally the reason I went to watch this movie in theaters. I hope Sasha Calle can reprise the role in future movies. Love this interpretation of Supergirl.
Too bad we didn’t get the Kara after credit scene. Instead we got the lame Clooney cameo. I was expecting him to offer Barry some Nespresso decaf to slowdown his spastic delivery. What a letdown!
Yup, a lot of bad decisions.. I mean, they wasted the return of Michael Keaton on this movie and cancelled Batman Beyond with him being the older Batman mentor.. Like, how dumb is that? You could have easily made a new Triology with Michael Keaton as the original old retired Batman training a new Batman and then he takes over for the next two movies.. like, they cancelled that and use Keaton on this mess? Nothing shocking from the idiots in charge of DC and Hollywood movies in general these days..
Of course not. Cavill is white. She is brown. It doesn't make any sense. Supergirl is white and blonde. Nobody needs a brownwashed SuperTomboy with a cheap suit and a non-binary haircut.
Within like the first few minutes she was on screen I turned to my friend who went to the movie with me and said “Is it bad that I like her more than the CW one?” He burst out laughing and then during the scene where she’s absorbing the sunlight on top of the mansion I said to him again, “Okay yeah I love her so much more.”
Yeah, she's got a lot more screen charisma than Melissa Benoist and really brings a lot of physicality to her fight scenes. It's too bad the movie bombing and the general decline of the superhero genre probably nuked any chances of her getting her own DC movie, but she's an actress that could have a great career with the right roles.
James Gunn has said the possibility is out there. I hope they keep her as Supergirl. She was fantastic. Sasha and Keaton nearly made me forget about the kid fiddler enough to wanna not pirate this movie. Nearly.
No no no! The next DC Superhero will be "GenderPerson", a character neither male nor female who is out to save the planet from global warming and from itself, who is attracted to all sexes and races so as not to discriminate, and who will not fight evildoers but talk to them as they may have a valid reason for doing the things they do, and it would be wrong to stereotype them.
Love how even the rag that she wore in the first scene has the same superpower as she does. That's gotta be the most bulletproofed rag in the entire existence
you do know you can't destroy the clothes a kryptonian is wearing right? except their cape. it's a retcon put in to explain suits not breaking. they have a protective sort of energy field around them. it makes anything inside it just as invulnerable as them.
they did disapoint with her, she was literaly useless outside of letting flash get a second shock from the lightning. she spent 10+ mintues beating zod, which did fck all to him and he just walked away as if she was a toddler.
Considering the casting of the DCEU, if Zack Snyder hypothetically directed this, I could TOTALLY see him casting the same actress for the role of Supergirl.
3:30 kara said the same sentence "ive got u" as barry when he saved kara from the mercenary cage tunnel, sucha symbiotic way of mutually saving each other...am i the only one noticing this??
1) This Kara looks amazing. When she's fighting and in that suit. 😮 2) Say what you want but, I think Young Barry using the old Batsuit for a Flash suit looks so much better that how the Batsuit began. 3) Say what you want about Dark Flash, he looks pretty cool to me. Plus, learning that it's Young Barry now older trying to find the perfect outcome was a good enough excuse for me. 4) I think they nailed a pretty decent timetravel story. Sure, it rough around the edges but I'm a sucker for timetravel stories when it comes to the character needing to make difficult decisions to move on and learn from. 'The Butterfly Effect' from 2004 came to mind after watching this and I love that movie. 5) If there was one thing I'd change about this film, it'd be the Older Barry dying by Dark Flash, not Young Barry. And Barry being the reason for his mother's death (quite literally) by his hand. Instead of the director addressing that it's still Reverse Flash who kills his mom. Since we still never see who kills Barry's mom.
@@ItzDHF721 so the CGI isn't the best or passible for this film. You gonna act like what Marvel's done for CGI hasn't hit the same amount of "eww, what did they do to you?" feeling? Are we going to determine a film is bad just because of the CGI or amount of CGI a film uses?
@@ethanveda1271 It's kinda cringe that you're bringing up MCU. It makes you sound offended (and slightly narcissistic) rather than intelligent lol. People do complain about MCU and people are also complaining about DCEU... He did not "act" like MCU didn't have bad CGI... Deal with it.
im genuinely so confused as to why Wonder Woman is not their when the Kryptonians arrived at Earth, she would've been a great opponent against Faora or any Kryptonians in general she even has her sword which can potentially injure a Kryptonian
She was probably on a (mortal) humanitarian mission somewhere else far at that time aka just an in-universe excuse to not say the sponsorship or copyright for her movie appearances hadn't been passed yet. I'm not too familiar but as a demigod who can't die or get old, she's pretty much a rich woman and so she will go everywhere as a philanthropist while she hides in plain sight.
She’s the hottest and best version of Supergirl and I don’t care if she’s not blonde or cheerful, she did it justice! The actress did an amazing job and I hope to see her more as Supergirl!
Omg you are right. I just remembered in the JU animated series she looked so generic... like a collegue girl fetish sort of thing... here is an exact fullbody suit like that for Henry
I hope Sasha Calle knows that she portrayed Supergirl well. It’s Ezra’s criminality and WBs incompetence is what ruin it for everyone involved. I wanted Sasha to return again. If not as Gunn’s verse, then why not a simple solo movie like The Dark Knight Trilogy? She really did gave it her all in the movie, and the best thing is she lasted longer than those wannabe tough morons in that MCU Doctor Strange 2 movie where they died in less than 3 minutes.
If the cloth is close to her skin, it won't rip, as her skin is hard enough to deflect bullets. It like this : put a piece of paper on a steel block and hammer it. Nothing happens to the paper when the hammer hit paper with steel underneath.
Sasha Callé's Supergirl saved the entire multiverse without knowing it. Thanks to her, older Barry got his powers back and he was able to undo the damage.
Heh, she smiled as Barry took the picture. There is a softie under that steel. It's too bad we may never see a Supergirl again, or at least not for years.
she did justice to the role and character..she was intimidating, menacing & convincing all at the same time..good choice for a supergirl..just sux how they messed her up, killing her over & over, that was stupid, 2x more should be enough, we get it, she's dead nmw.
It’s awesome how Kara gets stronger every second of the fight. I think this movie should have been marketed as a sci fi not action , but it has great action scenes and attention to detail.
@@froylanhernandezmera2924 Well, Clark wasn't trying to seriously hurt Zod, or kill him, the latter was a last resort. Kara on the other hand was going for the kill, and she just got her powers, so she was amped up. It didn't help that Zod admitted that he killed baby Kal El.
@@brennensanchez7692she performed well in combat...but unfortunately she was destined to die poor baby clark ......they shouldn't have killed him to get the codex out of him
Why shouldn't you say it? What's wrong with admiring a person's physical prowess? Shexus beautiful, intelligent, and a good actress. Also, they shouldn't have killed her off!
Don’t worry I think it’s funny too. Like she’s protecting Bruce while disarming the bad guy while slamming his own gun against him while sending him flying while he makes a grunt in slow motion.
I love her, she was the best part of the movie, she looks so good! She is attractive, interesting and cute at the same time. ❤️ a movie between Sasha's Supergirl and Henry's Superman would be a great success... What wasted potential. DC doesn't deserve this. 😢
I wish they cancelled this movie and made a solo movie of just her. I hate Ezra Miller. Plus he's too damn annoying as fuck! And I don't like Batman. Supergirl was the reason I didn't leave the theater at that time 😂
Although Sgirl's punches have good effects, they appear to be thrown with the weakness of a woman's arm. Even though there are fewer frames in the scene to add speed, it still falls short of conveying the feeling of power.. There are many realism errors, such as overly processed wallpapers, or incorrect wind effects on the face, etc.
Kara couldn't defeat Zod because he doesn't have enough recharge from the sun, instead Clark did It is also a fixed point, as Spiderman 2099 said, it is a canine event that cannot be changed, it has to continue like this (also, in the Flashpoint comic or in the animated movie, no one survives and the villains achieve their Victory).
It wasn't originally the plan. They filmed two versions of the ending where it turns out she actually does survive in Barry's main timeline, but once Gunn announced he was wiping the slate clean it was decided to cut her out of it.
Her figure is just alluring and captivating. Nice physique for Supergirl and she's nicely endowed and looked soft and delicate and absolutely lovely as Supergirl. Really would like to see more of her as Supergirl. She was badass as well
I just loved this movie, concept, story, emotions, skills, efforts everything was surprised for me... thank u DC for the best collection of my life!!!!
The way this dainty girl flies around is just graceful like a hummingbird and majestic. Her lesbo haircut should be annoying but she comes across cute. Her anger should be like a PMSd bitchy woman but it comes across very attractive. There's a very great charm about this girl with a nice figure, soft supple looks and rack and overall attitude that is actually endearing without being irritating. I think they found a really great Supergirl who should have her own movie with this short hair cut since it makes her look very cute and attractive and her flying was nice - reminded me of 1978 Supe flying majestic.
