This seems right out of those power rangers finales.

A series finale is always difficult because your trying to wrap up all those years into the last 15 minutes. Nobody is ever happy with a finale. The series had its highs and lows but overall it really did add to to the value to the superhero universe. I can't recall the last time a Villain created a situation like that where it back fired. I honestly did not see that coming.

CW: We can't have 20 Heroes in one scene for a cross over because of Covid restrictions. Also The CW:.....

The best part was Helen Slater using her shotgun, as well as the Supergirl 1984 reference. CW's Crisis fucked up HARD by not having her reprise her role as Kara in the Reeve universe (now played by Routh).

Better title would have been Supergirl & Super Friends stand together. Not really a final battle as there wasn't any fighting. Lex and Nyxly were spirited away before anything could happen; though if they phantom creatures feed on fear why did they go for Lex and not Kara. Kara fears the phantom zone more than Lex would, having been trapped there on two occasions

I was so disappointed how this story went. Being Mon El and Kara broke up and Kara being alone in the end seeing her friends and sister got their partners. Irony how Kara always talk about afraid of being alone.

Supergirl cant do stunts is what I remember from Season 1. Getting rid of Livewire was a mistake. Fighting took place. Giving 20 people dialog instead of 7 or less never made punching important like the comic books did.

I'm a DC fan, but sorry, this is too corny. Melissa deserved much more as Supergirl. And seriously, everyone suddenly became a "superhero", like what? The super friends were better when it was just Kara, James, and Winn, getting help from J'onn and Alex (as an agent, I liked her better as Agent Danvers than Sentinel).

How did this show get so far. I like the first season as Kara was a bit goofy and cute and then it started being ridiculous with terrible writings. Well the ratings kept them in business. I hope Kara visit Smallville and get a better writer for her.
