I thought that their adaptations of Superman's stories were well done for Kara: Like "For the girl who has everything" was resolved by the theme of family the central dynamic of the main characters revolves around (what with Alex entering her world and so on). Haven't seen much of the first half, tbh, but I trust your judgment and I'll power through it to the better stuff, just so I can get more out of the character relations later on.
I really enjoyed this season. I think it gets better and more enjoyable once you understand and accept that the target audience is girl and moms. Honestly it's WAY better than Snyderverse Superman.
unless the network stops getting antsy about having two versions of the same character play at the same time, I doubt we will see superman any time soon. Just look at Arrow for proof. six months before suicide squad and arrow has disbanded their version of the suicide squad and killed amanda waller -what a coincidence!. Also I doubt the changes that were made as the season went along was the writers listening to fans. By the time the fans have the chance to get up to say, episode 7 they would have locked in all the storylines up to around episode 17 possibly further.
