If I Had A Supergroup Season I Would Have It Nu Metal Themed Name:Blitx Episodes:27 Members:Eric Whitney (Ghostemane) *Unclean Vocalist*, Bob Zilla (Damageplan, Hellyeah) *Bassist*, Brian “Head” Welch (Korn) *Rhythm Guitarist* Daron Malakian (System Of A Down) *Clean Vocalist & Lead Guitarist* & Chris Fehn (Slipknot) *Drummer*
@@Jeff-pf8qv I saw Ted at my state fair one time signing autographs and i didn't know he was gonna be playing that night. I didn't know he was in town until i walked right by him not recognizing him at first. I was like look at this desperate toolbag signing autographs in buttfk nowhere like he's still trying to be relevant so i just kept walking away lol. Look, he's a great musician and wrote some amazing albums but his personality is sht. Nothing to be jealous over lol.
@@brandonvandelden7972 I think I just already had kinda low standards for the guy lol. I think he's rad but I think he's also been pretty lowkey embarrassing lol. Talented, but a moron. Nice...but stupid lol.
Jason Bonham seems to be the most level-headed of the group. I remember thinking that when it first aired. I'd like to see VH1 do another one of these.
Sebastian Bach is a total goofball and will probably act like he's 16 yrs old for the rest of his life ... but that dude can sing anything, has the best scream ever, and will never get the respect he deserves.... Easily the best hard rock vocalist of his generation and probably in the top 4 or 5 ever
Evan Seinfeld was a poor choice to be on this show. He's more well known for "directing" for lack of a better word, porn flicks starring his wife than he is for his music.
I would love to see a full egotistical version of Supergroup. Here's my pitch: Axl Rose, Tom Morello, Noel Gallagher, Gene Simmons & Tommy Lee. Plot twist: Axl is the most reasonable one of the group
@@JustinProper yea & who had the bigger window of relevance & cool before the became a walking punchline ! Both these muppets were exposed as soon as they had a platform to stRt speaking ! Bach was one of the best singers around & DLR well , not much of a singer but he invented the word frontman ! He was it ! Then the internet showed up and it’s a crapshoot of who has the least amount of self awareness ! Coincidentally , both had arguably the best first 2 albums ever !!!! Weird !
Where's that goddamn moment. I was looking for that bit on RU-vid but found only the whole episode. I can't stomach tv shows like this so I gave up looking for it quickly...
telling them how to play and then he can’t even bother to show up for soundcheck. he shouldn’t be giving advice to anyone considering he’ll put porn before music
Exactly!!! Evan seems like a douchebag! He thinks he is the biggest/most important musician of the group and he is the exact opposite. The guy is a jackass.
I remember watching this on tv when it aired. It was interesting to say the least. Doc saying their song was dated and good for 1982. What would you expect it to sound like. The point was never to reinvent the wheel. And what does Doc know about modern music??? He manages KISS......
Since watching this back in 2006, I’ve never wondered why the guys in Skid Row have turned down a nice payday for all these years by not bringing Bach back. He’s a lot to deal with.
It's just impossible to watch and listen to Ted Nugent. Most total dorks don't have such boisterous personalities. I can't turn the channel fast enough when he's talking. It's not even his politics - it's just straight tin foil chewing darkness
I’m only one episode in and so far the only ones I don’t completely hate are Scott Ian and Jason Bonham. Oh, and there are TONS of men & women who don’t want to do porn.
Thank you. I genuinely couldnt even imagine having sex for money and certainly don’t FANTASIZE about doing that. Evan is just a delusional overweight insecure guy. The type that would call a woman a prude and say nobody wants to F because she didn’t want to do him. 🤮
finding out that ted nugent was being extremely racist during filming is extremely disappointing but not at all shocking. i’m happy sebastian was able to stand up to him
you didn't "find out" anything. you read an accusation in a book written to make money. Ted Nugent has been a public figure since the 60's. For decades he has praised the black artists who invented rock and roll. He has hired black musicians to tour and live with. You can see him hugging, thanking, praising black artists, fans, children, friends for 60 years. Every thing he has said has been scrutinized for at least 20 years. And one guy, who famously has burned every bridge that ever took him anywhere, makes an unsupported accusation in a book and that's enough for you to throw away 60 years of evidence to the contrary and believe him? LOL. nice critical thinking skills
I could watch Bach and Nugent all effing day. They can't help but be themselves, in their strange, messed-up, lovable, unique, childish, INTELLIGENT and GENUINE ways. Respect.
yeah I think they should of gotten a different guitar player than Ted nugent. I just don't like the way he talks. he thinks every thing he says is right. very cocky. Sebastian Bach is fucking hilarious though!!!
Scott Ian's at the strip club feeling nervous about his girlfriend/soon to be wife at the time, mind you she's Meatloafs daughter. So I can kinda see why he's concerned about how she feels.
iamjeona that is so true, cat scratch, stranglehold and free for all, those are the only songs I've ever heard from him. And yes wasn't his girlfriend like 14 and he was like 28 or something?
@@ontarget7582 Ginger Baker was a bitter, arrogant man, who thought he was the greatest drummer on earth. Well, he wasn’t. The guy’s way, way overrated. John Bonham was a great drummer. Kinda pity, that Jason will always be compared to his dad, and the fact of the matter is, that he will never reach that level. John was born into it, groovy and in the pocket. ✌️
@@kiekko673 Jason might be even technically better than his dad. The problem however is-him as a character is not flashy as his father was. Also the popularity of the bands he played in will never touch Led Zeppelin. The problem is a drummer has to have a good song to show his genius and Sorry but none of the guys in Foreigner or whatever band Jason is are Jimmy Page. the myth of John Bohnam was forged in the perfect storm and allignment of planets. Jason never had that opportunity to showcase.
This was a cool idea that should have seen additional seasons. A great second season would have been Dio, Michael Anthony, Nicco McBrain, Rudolph Schenker and Slash.
FYI "Chesty Puller" name that Ted Nugent suggested was for Lieutenant General Lewis Burwell "Chesty" Puller, the most decorated Marine in American history who fought in WWII and the Korean War.
I could only be in a band with Scott Ian and Jason Bonham. While I respect most everyone else, I would be drinking bleach by the end of the week to end the misery.
U can tell your comment is 7yrs ago ! He’s proven to be such a tool ! Skid row wouldn’t even do a cash grab tour with that muppet ! Hell , he got replaced by a girl !😂
Ted said the rest of these guys are Virtuosos?Nope..Not one is..Bonham would be closest and he is not..Evan is the weakest musically..He makes a lot of clams and has little feel to his playing..The whole Rap-metal thing blows and they could have done better than Evan Seinfeld...
HI! I AM Doc McGhee! I manage some of the biggest bands in America! KISS! 👍 BON JOVI! 👍 MOTLEY CREW! 👍 SKID ROW! 👍 SCORPIONS! 👍 HOOTIE AND THE BLOWFISH! wait what? OK. I guess.
Glad this Band didn't fly ,Thank God Scott Ian did this for money And then walked far away from this cock rock shit .And the Branding Meeting . Back street boys , Holy fuk. Really That Manger Should be fired To think These rock Gods need a Branding Team. This is the problem in music today . Suits knowing nothing About music.,
Sebastian was the hottest guy back in the late eighties early nineties. N that voice! He doesn't sound too great now ,which is sad ,but he always seems like a cool motherfucker.
Despite how they might seem at face value, I personally respect each and every one of them. I never heard of Evan or Jason until I saw this show, though. Here is how I would describe them:(both positive and negative)[Based on my observations] ################################################################## Sebastian Bach: Unrestrained Enthusiasm, Passionate but emotionally vulnerable, Sometimes Kid-like in behavior and a MASSIVE Ted Nugent *FA-NA-TIC*. Ted Nugent: LEGENDARY Guitarist, Phenomenal band leader and moral compass but politically incorrect. (I wouldn't have him any other way.) Evan Seinfeld: Sees his band mates as his brothers, Very relaxed, Big brother-like figure to and protective of Sebastian, Very transparent.. Scott Ian: His band Anthrax is part of the "Big Four" of Metal. (The others being Metallica, Slayer & Megadeth.), Big, but more restrained fan of Ted, Easy going, Professional. Jason Bonham: Has his head screwed on straight. Not much else I can say about him as I have never heard of any of the groups that he has been a part of other than hearing *OF* Foreigner. Doc McGhee (The Manager): Never heard of him until the show came on. Seems very professional despite The Guys giving him a royal hard time. I personally respect his professionalism. The first time that he and Sebastian saw each other in the rehearsal room, Sebastian thought that he had seen a ghost. ################################################################## I know that this comment is *VERY* long-winded, however, I just wanted to be honest with you all.
Thanks for posting these episodes, I had forgotten about this show. Used to love watching this one and Rockstar: Supernova, loved those rock- based reality shows.
god this is my 4th comment and god evan is so corny "deep in the darkness shit comes out my hoooollleee, shitting thunder down thaaat toilet bowwwwwl!!!!"
I always thought it would have been cool to see another season but featuring the following. Matt Sorum on Drums,Neal Schon on Lead Guitar,Gene Simmons on Bass (or Jason newstead), Rick Nielson on Rythym Guitar, and Sammy Hagar on Lead Vocals
You can see this is going to be a disaster from the beginning. Successful groups typically have one person who writes the music, another person who writes the lyrics and everyone else false in behind.
Ok, if you have problems with your teeth, obviously you're gonna go and get them fixed/replaced,whatever. But from my European point of view, I've noticed that all Americans, especially celebs, just go ahead and do a too white teeth job! It looks so unnatural. What's the point? I'm sorry, no dissin for the Americans, quite the opposite, but boy I rarely see that kinda thing here.
Martin Heidl I'm American and you're absolutely correct! Instead of fixing what they have they seem to just buy new ones by getting veneers or something. Stupidity!
Omg im a sucker for this kind of reality show, im so gonna binge watch this and not get anything done today... look at Docs teeth! Those things are glowing!
