Plot twist: That wasn't actually the supervillain. That was a homunculus being controlled by the supervillain who is a sort of modern Lich. The other goons were also homunculi but are weaker versions who aren't directly controlled by their master. The villain want to make their very own little kingdom deep underground the city where they can vibe and do weirdly chill stuff in the company of the their subjects who were originally just freshly dead corpses now given new life through their masters modern lich magic or smt. Right now, the lich is sending their guys up to the surface to get money so that they can pay a contractor to build their kingdom.
Just wanted to make a quick note: Yes 99% of diamonds aren’t as valuable as they are marketed as, there is around 1% that is due to there uses. Also it could be that the villain took it to make diamond tipped drill bits that could be used to cut into a vault, or yk they could just punch their way in
Yeah this would be a lot of fun like she has to reluctantly team up with the villain and she sees he is a big softy who likes small dogs and collects cool looking spoons.
I just imagining us gathering up wealth while you throw yourself at us, without doing much. We're just standing there just wondering when you'll tire yourself out. Also, I can't help but imagine we go by the name Atlas. Just seems to fit.

Has anyone done a hero/villain script before where the hero tries to stop the listener from "robbing" some place only to find out they were hired to move and guard its inventory?
