Reminds me more of Antichamber than anything else. That was the first time I had encountered mind bending puzzles of this nature.

Wow, this thing FINALLY made it out!?!? This guy's been working on this game for YEARS upon YEARS! Good to see it, finally done.

This was maybe the most pleasing to the eye games I ever played. Not state of the art wise but just visually stimulating.

An amazing puzzle mechanic in a game that isn't a puzzle game. Its a story game where the entire story can be summed up to "you're dreaming, so random lol" while expecting us to believe its deep. Atmosphere - Very Good Mechanic - fucking omg orgasm holie schitt Puzzles - Is that a puzzle? No. Is that? No. Is that? yes, the solution is to stand in this specific spot. Story - "have you played Stanley Parable or Talos Principle? So have I, they made my brain all hurty."

The concept is really clever! I would have bought it if it wasn't on the epic games store.

Just beat this game not too long ago. Such an amazing puzzle game and it had quite a few head scratchers. Definitely go in blind on this one, there is always a solution somewhere!

Looks neat. Reminds me of the (unfinished) game Scale... except that it actually released within 6 years. Don’t give Steve Swink money, he doesn’t deserve it.

It was an interesting concept and the first half was great, it really is like portal crossed with stanley parable but not as well written or open ended. If the rest of the game was just more clever and complicated puzzles that make use of the dream physics gimmick then I would have been happy. Unfortunately, the final half becomes more of a walking simulator and tries to be alot deeper than it really is with the narrator giving a speech about overcoming challenges or something. It was really disappointing for me. If only they had a level creator or something, the narration is not the strong suit of this game but it kept trying to push it.

Honestly I've been more impressed by the technical aspect of some of those puzzle than by the game itself. First half was fun trying to understand how the rules operate, but in the end I was just walking through trying things slightly haphazardly knowing it'd work eventually. The narration was also a bit meh, especially when it tried to pretend it taught me something about changing my perspective and overcoming impossible challenge when as I said the game can be completed by trying things somewhat randomly cause there aren't many options anyway. Like, it pretend it's about changing perspective and thinking outside the box, but once I understood the logic of the game I never really had to shift the way I approached it and the only times I thought I found an interesting out of the box solution I either got stuck in a part of the level you aren't supposed to access, or as presented in the video, fell out of bounds (also expecting to at least be put back in the level considering how easy and predictible it was). In the end I'm very disapointed in it as a puzzle game, but still salute the work to make all that function.

I wouldn't say it's an amazing puzzle game (the puzzles are good but not at the level of something like a Portal or QUBE), but it was an amazing experience to me. It was weird and unique, and it deserves full credit for that. I was fully immersed to the point where the game had the hairs on the back of my neck standing at attention most of the game because I was so enthralled by the weird story and how much the game felt like it was actively fucking with me. I can see this not being for everyone, but I highly recommend it.

I played it through in one sitting. I would sum the game up as this: there is a point where the narrator begins to talk about how frustrated you must feel from wandering around with no goal in sight, but it felt more like a cover for the poor game design, and the game does end eventually so making me feel like there is no end goal doesn't serve a real narrative purpose..

This game looks amazing, hope it comes out on Xbox.

It's a cool game, but unless your favorite puzzle game is Talos Principle, don't expect to be very satisfied by its puzzles. They only scratch the surface of the mechanic, and instead try to do find other gimmicks, which often ends up playing like 3D pixel hunting than puzzle solving. While there are some cool ideas with some puzzles, it really seems like they run out of ideas on this side, especially when most of the puzzles were already in the 2014 prototype. It's way more of a Stanley Parable (doing comedy with game design) than a Portal / Antichamber. Problem is, the game tries to mix multiple games but never gets to their respective level.

Wow. You had me up until you said it was available on the epic game store. Maybe lead with that next time so people who have an issue with that can bow out without having a nice sounding game being dangled in front of them before being snatched away.

superliminal is probably the only game i would give a 10/10. There is nothing wrong with the game There is no point where i found myself wishing it had more or less of x/y/z Levels were not difficult, but some require you to think a bit about what you are looking at, and make some logical leaps. like that one puzzle where you had to go through a door, but the other side of the door didn't exist yet, so you put a block in the door frame so it looks like you are putting it on the other side, thereby bringing the other side into existence. you see it as existing, therefore it does. The mechanics work so smoothly, and the transition from a small object to a large object is pretty seamless if you aren't trying to do some game breaking pro gamer move. everything about this game made me want to keep playing. i never got bored, or frustrated, or annoyed by anything at all. the only true 10/10 in my book

Game should've had support for RTX..would've kind of boosted the games visuals a little bit.

i played this game, but unfortunately i was very underwhelmed with the game duration. 20 dollars is too much to ask for maybe a 3 hour game. the puzzles are very cool but definitely not enough to justify 20

You and I sound like the same kind of gamer, we overthink puzzles and frustrate ourselves. To find solutions we have to think differently, I call it "thinking like a console gamer". It usually gets me out of a jam.

Takes about an hour and a half if you're 🧠. If you have the game pass it's worth just playing for the fun of it. Decent enough game.
