I recently came across an old practice video of Taeyong and Ten when they were trainees (along with Johnny, Jaehyun, Yuta and Hansol) that is friggin awesome. To me, the choreo looks fairly difficult... I'm no pro of course, but the guys do look wrecked afterwards. All of them are great, but Ten and Taeyong were real standouts, even back then. SuperM was created by SM Entertainment in collaboration with Capitol Records in the U.S. This group features 7 of the best of the best when it comes to dance, vocals, rap and performance in Kpop. The members of SuperM are some of the absolute best from SM Entertainment's most popular groups. If you notice, SuperM starts with S and ends with M -- SM. They are the Kpop industry's very first supergroup. So I think you probably actually know all the members of SuperM from your previous reactions to their original groups: Lucas is a rapper and visual of WayV/NCT-U, he is Chinese-Thai from Hong Kong; > Ten is the main dancer and a lead vocalist from WayV/NCT-U, he is Thai; > Baekhyun is a main vocalist of EXO and the leader of SuperM, he is the oldest member of SuperM and he is Korean; > Taemin is the main dancer and a lead/main vocalist from the legendary group SHINee, as well as one of the most popular solo artists, he is Korean and he has been in the industry for more than 12 years (Taemin and Kai are considered the top two BEST dancers in the entire industry); > Taeyong is a main rapper, lead dancer and the leader of NCT (he is part of NCT-127/NCT-U), he is Korean; > Kai is the main dancer, a lead vocalist, sub-rapper and center of EXO, he is Korean; > Mark is a main rapper of NCT (NCT-127, NCT-U and NCT-Dream), he is the youngest member of SuperM and he is Korean-Canadian. SuperM are considered the Avengers of Kpop because the group is so multi-talented, with some of the most influential idols in the industry, representing multiple nationalities and Kpop generations, who are poised to take over the world.The group debuted in the U.S. last year so that is why their title track "One (Monster and Infinity)," their previous release "100" and their debut song "Jopping" are mostly in English because "Jopping" was meant to be their foyer into the U.S. music market, and "100" and "One (Monster & Infinity)" continues that plan. "Tiger Inside" was a pre-release track from SuperM's first full length album Super One. Mark is Canadian, so he is the fluent English speaker of the group. And WayV is the Chinese sub-unit of NCT, so not only does Ten and Lucas speak Korean and English, but they also speak Mandarin. Ten also speaks Thai because he is from Thailand and Lucas speaks Cantonese because he is from Hong Kong and a little Thai because his mom is Thai. And although, Baekhyun, Kai, Taemin and Taeyong are all native Korean, they also speak many other languages. For example, Taemin, and his group SHINee, are very popular in Japan, so he is fluent in Japanese as well. However, Taemin is the one with the most seniority in the group. Taemin debuted 4-10 years before any of the other members of SuperM. Taemin debuted as a member of SHINee in 2008 when he was 14 years old, so he is a super senior of the group. Which is why, Taemin is the one everyone looks up to. If you really want to understand the story being told in SuperM's MVs you have to watch "Jopping" and you also need to get to know EXO's storyline. Because everything SuperM does is connected to the story that began even before EXO debuted more than 8 years ago. I recommend you start with EXO's debut song "Mama" and you have to watch BOTH versions of their "Mama" MV -- the Korean (EXO-K) version and the Mandarin Chinese (EXO-M) version. It is said that the concept for SuperM is supposed to be like the Avengers, so, I see it as each of the members are a different kind of superhero that make up the larger "Avengers" group, just like how the Marvel Avenger members come together from all walks of life with all different abilities and powers, etc. to make up one big supergroup. I think the concept of the group all stems from EXO's concept and storyline. The members of EXO's are aliens from Planet Exo, and each of the members has a superpower that is specific to them. From day one, EXO's story has been that they were sent to Earth on a mission to find and protect the Tree of Life from the Red Force, while also trying to fix all the things that are going wrong in the world, which are thought to be caused by the Red Force. As a member of EXO, Baekhyun has the power to control light and Kai has the power of teleportation, so those powers are nothing new for them. (If you watch their debut MV for their song "Jopping" you will see them using their powers.) However, the concept of superpowers is new for all the other member (You will see the other member's special powers and abilities if you check out all of their teaser videos leading up to their release of "Jopping".) So I think because Kai and Baekhyun are part of the group, SuperM's storyline is tied to EXOs storyline. I think SuperM are supposed to be coming together to fight the Red Force and to prevent or stop them from corrupting and taking over the world, etc. And just like the Marvel Avengers members each have their own Superhero story, when they come together to form The Avengers they combine their story and concept and weave elements of each of the member's backstories into The Avengers storyline. I see SM Entertainment doing the same thing with SuperM. Also, just like how the Marvel Avengers come together to combine their strengths and powers to help fight Thanos, I see parallels with what SM is doing with SuperM's storyline. SuperM is taking the "best" members from each group and joining forces to take down the Red Force. And just like how the movies "Avengers Identity War" and "Avengers Endgame" eventually had each of the Marvel Avengers members recruiting their whole crew to help in the fight, I think SM is setting it up so that all of its groups' members will eventually be brought into the fight. Some fans who are into SM group theories have also speculated that NCT's dream concept and storyline also connects to EXO's storyline, just like how many believe that Red Velvet is connected to EXO's storyline -- it is believed that SM's girl group Red Velvet, EXO's sister group, may be the Red Force. I think that SM may even have set it up so that at least all of their third generation groups have storylines that connect, link together and intertwine. And although NCT and SHINee don't have a backstory that has anything to do with being Superheroes in the same way as EXO does, I find it interesting that NCT and WayV have songs called "Superhuman" and "Take Off" which both have sort of superhero type themes in their MVs, and one of Ten's solo songs was called "New Heroes". With what I know about SM, it wouldn't surprise me if this is something they have had in the works for a really long time and they probably have been creating ways to foreshadow things to come in SuperM that create connections between the members and their original groups. One thing SM has mastered since the creation of EXO, is how to tell a story and how to create a mystery that connects even the most minute of details together to build an epic adventure for fans. I think songs such as "Superhuman," "Take Off" and "New Heros," for example, may have been specifically used to create a connection between NCT/WayV and SuperM and may, in the future, connect the storylines in those MVs to the story in SuperM. I also think SuperM was SM's way of showing us that from now on we need to pay attention, because all of its groups' MVs are somehow connected. SuperM's storyline is already connected to EXO's storyline, and I think SM may be working on expanding the story to its other groups, in the same way that "The Avengers" connects all the individual superheroes' stories when they come together to form The Avengers. If the SuperM Avengers are coming together to help EXO stop the Red Force, I think the members who are part of SuperM are the liaisons who are helping to connect all the groups -- EXO, Taemin/SHINee, NCT and WayV -- together. For example, right after SuperM released "Jopping," WayV came out with "Moonwalk" and I think "Moonwalk" is a continuation of "Jopping's" storyline, and now I think WayV's "Turn Back Time" is also part of that story. To help explain, I think EXO are the ones who are members of SuperM and they are working with the other "Avengers" members to try and stop X-EXO. (X-EXO are EXO's alter ego clones) If you watch "Jopping" and pay attention to what Kai and Baekhyun are wearing in that MV, their outfits are very similar to the all black outfits they are wearing in EXO's "Obsession " MV -- Kai even wears the same parachute backpack in both MVs -- which seems to indicate then that the version of Kai and Baekhyun in SuperM are the EXO members who are the good guys. Because in "Obsession" the members in all black are supposed to be EXO and the members in the colorful outfits with the crazy hair and makeup are the X-EXO members who have been created by the Red Force. So on that note, I think people need to pay attention to all of the storylines with all of SM's groups, because I think at least all of SM's third generation groups' MVs and storylines are being designed to connect stories and plots. Each group has their own individual storyline and concept, but when you put them all together, there are threads of connection between the groups. And that includes EXO, Red Velvet, NCT/WayV, and maybe even Taemin's solo work (and possibly -- but not 100% sold on the idea -- even eventually SHINee, even though they are technically 2nd generation. Even though SHINee are second gen, they actually fit within the age group of third generation groups, so they sort of bridge that gap between 2nd and 3rd gen. So who knows, when SHINee comes back maybe SM will draw them into the storyline as well.
Sorry but TAEYONG is the MAIN DANCER(along with Ten and Jisung), MAIN RAPPER, CENTER, VISUAL, SUB VOCALIST and FACE OF THE GROUP of NCT. Please don't discredit his position in the group it come from his hard work.

Excuse US...but there IS a distinct difference in positions & functions of MAIN & LEAD in kpop and it is NOT subjective. So you ARE essentially demoting Lee Taeyong who is IN FACT a MAIN dancer and ALSO the Center of 127 (Taeyong was the NCT Main Dancer featured in the MAIN DANCERS Series. He is a gifted freestyler & credited choreorapher, one of the most admired dance stylists in the industry (beyonce's team cited Taeyong as an influence for her Superbowl choreo) So to call you out for calling Taeyong a "lead dancer" is NOT his fans being "too sensitive" Nor is there a "subjective difference of opinion" about WHO has been, from their debut, the legitimate FACE of NCT127 and confirmed figurehead of all 23 members of #NCT2020. You DO know the significance of these well earned titles and so do we. Intended or not the slight was noted. So just apologize for your error, stand corrected and...let's move on.

These are the best of the best, cherry picked from the best groups under SM Entertainment. It's co-owned/produced by Capitol Records in the US so they also have the best of the best as far as production goes.

I mean---SuperM is one of my main favorite groups in Kpop and I know that the 4/7 people there are considered the best dancers in Kpop (and my favorites) but I think in terms of dancing they're not that good as a group (coz they have different styles and i think because they are trained to work with their individual groups like (EXO, NCT, SHINee) I love them so much tho 😭❤️
