This is what game developers SHOULD be doing with characters that have abilities. Open world action on a massive scale. Finally, the technology is here for it. If any company would like to start such a game, let me know. I have been waiting to do these ideas for decades now. I work as an animator at a game company right now.

For how dark and gloomy the Arkham series (rightfully) looked, this is exactly how I’d want a Superman game to look. Everything is crisp, the sky is a brilliant orange/blue, the shading and lighting is silky smooth, and it inspires hope.

Such a shame no developer has the vision to make something like this. Brilliant work.

Absolutely amazing! I like how as he flies you can tell he’s moving fast but the frame rate doesn’t drop. Also being able to land and ascend so gracefully, very cool👍🏾👍🏾Would love a Superman game like this.

This has so much potential. It's perfect in so many little ways like the graphics, details etc. It would be nice if a power/energy bar is added and superman can like go up to the sun to recharge at a faster rate if he wants. And also would love to see the sound barriers break while flying.

Waiting for a Superman game like this forever. It is so sad that they make gizzillions of batman and spiderman games. But not the greatest superhero ever...superman! The things you can do with superman... you can't do with anyone else! It would be so much fun!

The biggest challenge with a Superman game is the progression and combat system. There are maybe a handful of villains that can threaten him physically and they’re all big boss level characters. No one beneath that level is doing anything to him so what’s the game going to be like in between boss fights?

The developers behind Arkham Knight could make a wonderful Superman game. I mean just look at this, Metropolis is bright and sunny in contrast to the gloomy and overcast skies of Gotham reflecting the differing themes of their respective hometown heroes.

I was thinking when this started, that if they did a Superman gene it would have to be Global and show you to go to outer space, at least the moon and this demo delivered.

People forgetting he has to interact with stuff the way Superman would, whether saving or destroying objects. He can make craters, tear down buildings and freeze lakes. A proper Superman game is very far from reality atm.

The people who say Superman is too powerful for a video game clearly never read any DC Comics. He has one of the richest villain gallery and most of them are capable of brawling with him and some are even more powerful than him. Most of these villains never used at movies properly. You can make plenty of boss fights for at least a trilogy games. For henchmen, instead of regular thugs like in Batman or Spider-Man games, developers can use robots, aliens, high tech goons, magical beasts, kryptonite based weapons etc. The threat at main story should be cataclysmic tier.

Imagine if we get a REAL Open World Superman game with Henry Cavill as the voice actor, with Villains like Brainiac, Frost, Metallo, Parasite and some cameos from the JL. Would be one of the most top selling games ever if the writing is done properly.

As much as I love to see an open world Superman game to travel to other planets, it’s gonna take a while to design that kind of open world setting. I love how he flies around the Earth Orbit, and I would like to see a global setting where you can fly to many cities and countries to do storyline and side missions as Superman and the journalist Clark Kent.

This genuinely upsets me due to how good the fans can make concept like this with a budget no where near as gaming studios and we’ve yet to receive a Superman game of this status. 😭😭😭

I think the biggest issue for Superman game is what kind of mob enemy could fight Superman. Superman is quite strong and if he did not have self-control, all of his move are lethal. Robot yeah but fighting against human seem easy unless they are metahuman or equip with kryptonite bullet.

We've never had a Superman game and in 2024 I think it's time we get what we the people deserve.

If Insomniac or some other developer decides to make this, an extremely important feature would be to make the flight as interactive and satisfying as the web slinging from Spiderman.

Fan creators stomping official game companies to the ground right now. DC has so many good characters you can do an open world with or just a standalone game. As fun and good the Arkham games were (still LOVE it to this day), Batman isn’t the only character you can do games with. I would to have a modern open world game on Superman, especially with the technology we have now. The possibilities are endless.

Wow! Amazing! A full fledged game is very possible. Maybe a formula inspired by the recent PS4/5 Spider-Man games except it would need more / lots of bosses that challenge Superman. Maybe the main villain is Lex throughout the game's story and incorporated are other bosses that have stories correlated with Lex's plan, Darkseid, Braniac, Doomsday, Zod, etc. Who knows..? Also, Superman is known for hearing calls for help and flying around the world and there may be development challenges around that concept. For sure a complete open world experience of the whole world seems inconceivable. So developers would probably need to be methodical and treat them as side missions, along with others in the main city area. The potential for a game like this is insurmountable. Props to the creator, this is truly a lovely work of art.

It would be great that he flies faster, breaking the sound barrier like in Man of steel. It feels agonizingly slow this way.

They have a lot of potential making batman, superman, wolverine, iron man games. It's whether they can get it right and put passion into the projects instead of cash grabbing like most movie franchises are reduced to.

The biggest hurdle will always be "how do we make him invincible without breaking the game?" This all great for a tech demo, but putting actual game mechanics onto it is an entirely different thing. The only thing that should feasibly be able to drain his health bar would be massive super villain level threats, but you can't make a game where it's just braniac invasions 24/7 and whatnot. If I remember correctly, one of the previous open world superman games had an idea where metropolis' condition was supes' health bar. The more the city get destroyed, the faster you lose. I kinda like that idea, but again, it doesn't really implement with smaller time crooks and things that superman would definitely step in on.

Magnificent idea, they either took this idea and still making the game without anyone on the internet know about it or they just don't like the idea because the game size will be so big, who knows🤷

Imagine if they created this game, where all the heroes in Justice league will have their own main storyline, side quest and you can change your hero anytime whenever you like to do their stories, while the other heroes are Idle you can see them on news saving people from different areas and countries. An open world where Gotham and Bat cave is accessible, as well as Atlantis, Themyscira, Moon Base, fortress of Solitude and the Green Lantern corp planet 📈💯

That would be actually sick if we had a game like this. Also, this opens up a plot hole. If Superman can go to space, the world he lives in would be far more advanced, he can just do space exploration for NASA and save tons of money.
