The fact that he has no clear limits to his abilities is a MASSIVE problem, especially considering that he's only powered by the sun. I would understand if Black Adam or Shazam did it, but Superman is just way too op

Superman is not a mortal, he is a God. Even if he would die he would just resurrect himself, thats a trait only Gods possess. And the fact that he can take hits from real Gods, and knock them out, is even further proof that he is actually on the same level as a God, including immortality. this is, of course, only because the writers refuse to let him die and keep giving him more and more made up powers without ever giving even a single explanation as to why he has this power when no one else of his race did (theres no reason they would bother living in a solar system without a yellow sun when they would ALL be Gods, in fact theres no reason the actual Gods would let them be wiped out when they were all just as powerful as the pantheon.) Really none of it makes sense because the writers keep adding on more and more bullshit, Superman isnt even the same character anymore. He's just Kal-El, God of Power. I wouldn't be surprised if he could beat Marvel's version of Zeus and Odin at the same time, though, it's unlikely, I definitely wouldn't rule out the Writers giving him some bullshit power to ascend beyond even the Skyfathers (Who can destroy the universe by themselves) Thors Hammer weighs about as much as a star unless you are Worthy. Thats why it hits so hard, he's slapping you with a star. This is why only The Hulk and those of similar strength can lift it.
