Superman: Doomsday LIVE ACTION short fan film. BIG THANKS to everyone who has ENJOYED this story I've tried to bring to life. Please continue to watch and share! I'm really glad so many of you found it entertaining!

In 2009 before talks of a reboot, this was intended to be a small, flashy 2 minute trailer for a Man of Steel - Superman Returns sequel, but during the creative process, it became more so I don't consider it a typical "trailer". This fan-edited short film, comprised of clips from existing movies, is just my opinion/idea for what a Superman Returns sequel could have looked like. Let's see Superman face a real threat... Doomsday!

Okay...I've never seen this before so please excuse my late comment since this has been up for quite some time. Kashchei2003, this project is so ambitious, so original, so inventive, and so expertly executed I'm in awe. Your execution was magnificent, and your utilization of the scenes and materials were dazzling. A brilliant selection of source material (yay Hancock!). Though not "professional" or "realistic" by movie standards, the graphics (for example, changing Hulk to look like Doomsday) DISTANTLY exceeds all expectations for a fan film and was a delight to watch. I'm quite impressed by your talent. Please ignore any negative remarks in the comment section. Those people are idiots who don't have the creativity or brainpower to comprehend what they were watching. I hope you are pursuing a career in the movie industry. They need people of your staggering talent and drive. Many thumbs up.

Batman Begins (2005) and Superman Returns (2006) should’ve led up to Batman v Superman. Both movies were one year apart from each other. Both movies were fresh on Rotten Tomatoes. Both movies looked and felt like they could’ve been in the same universe. Superman Returns even referenced Gotham.

@@raghmane id disagree. At that point things were very grounded but they couldve easily escalated. The Dark Knight kinda killed it though and the dark knight rises put the last nail in the coffin

@@TheVladMan. totally agree. But i think we should be grateful that it never happened for a few reasons. The first of these being that the studios werent putting ppl who were genuine fans of the property in charge. This likely wouldve led to a hypothetical batman vs superman movie failing terribly killing the dark knight trilogy before it even begun. As well as serving as a justification for never doing a live action shared universe which would have also killed the MCU. Our first proper cinematic universe, marvel or dc would probably be incredibly far out if this happened.

I love how it looks like Doomsday doesn't stand a chance in the beginning and Superman is toying with him but when he actually tries he's insane you can sew in the people's reaction at 3:29 at how Shcoked they are at Superman being beat this quick. 10 Outta 10

OMG. This is the Superman movie I've been waiting for! Doomsday is one of the most incredible villains of all time and I long for a full-length live action film with him in it. If this was a three hour long epic in movie theaters, I would spend all my money to watch it! Thank you for making this. It's like a dream come true! By the way, nice job editing the Hulk to look like Doomsday. Very well done!

This is old, but I LOVED this. It's been said already but this was more coherent and gripping than 90% of the big, bloated movies that Hollywood puts out every summer--impressive considering the limited tools used here. GREAT job to whomever worked on this. And that ending...YES!
