SUPERMAN & TAL RHO TEAM UP! Superman & Lois S2, Ep 12 Reaction & Review today. Lana is upset that her friendship with Lois has been based on a lie. She keeps Clark's secret, though her behavior causes Kyle to worry that she's dating someone else. Superman fails to recruit Jon-El, so John and Sam suggest destroying the portal to the Inverse World. Clark refuses and releases Tal-Rho since their combined powers can destroy the pendant. They are intercepted by Ally, who siphons Superman's power. John holds her off, and once the pendant is destroyed, she and Tal-Rho flee. Meanwhile, Jonathan skips his first day back at school with Jordan and Natalie. She offers him a suit that can stop Jon-El from merging with him. They go to the mines for X-K crystals that can power the suit, but lose them when Jordan's heat vision causes the mines to cave in. Later, Lois apologizes to Lana. She reveals Jordan's secret and allows her to tell her family; she ultimately doesn't do so. After learning about Lana-Rho, she decides to temporarily cut contact with the Kent family. Kyle pushes Sarah to perform at open mic night at a local bar. In the Inverse World, Ally siphons the Inverse Tal-Rho’s power, killing him.

Good episode. Tal & Kal team up is always a joy. The terrible teens working together was great. Lois and Clark need a holiday. Finally Ally seems dangerous and we’re moving along.

Love this show so much. Think it's my favourite comic book show, but the season breaks between the episodes has just ruined the season entirely. They better fix that shit next season

All the breaks were due to Covid cases (confirmed by Elizabeth Tulloch, the actress who plays Lois Lane, on twitter). They shoot this in Canada, where they are way more strict about protecting their citizens than in the US... If one member of the crew tests positive, they ALL have to go on quarantine for a few days, and restart everything.

Oh yeah I was waiting for your reaction for the latest Superman & Lois. I tell you this episode was also good and the whole buildup of Ally Alston now as a parasite who is just absorbing the life force from the victims brings back to Shang Tsung where it's "Your soul is mine". Ally Alston is a force to be wreckened with and now Sups, Steel and the rest of the military have to find a way to counter-attack her powers.

While there are some things I haven't been on board with this season, I still love the core elements of this show. IMO they need to refocus on the Kent family and the heart they had in season 1, but the ridiculous schedule is my biggest problem.

All I can say is that so far the S&L writers have a WAY better understanding of the identity secret than Supergirl writers. Lana's reaction feels very normal and easy to see why she's choosing this. And Clark's and Lois's reasons are totally selfless and easy to understand. Makes you feel for Clark AND Lana, without making them mortal enemies. Love it.

Lois didn't have to become close friends with Lana, whereas Clark grew up with her since childhood. That's the difference in how she feels about each of them keeping the secret from her.

Strongly. It would be even cooler if circumstances forced Superman to fly into the core of the Sun and stay there for 5 hours. To the music of "19.The Surface Of The Sun - John Murphy" - he would absorb solar radiation and try not to die. John Henry then knocks out the consciousness of the new villain, Superman will take advantage of this and hit the new villain so hard that he will pierce through the moon of the gas giant (this will be shown in detail), then the villain will fly out of the milky way. Before Superman flies into the Sun, everyone will strongly dissuade him, saying that this will kill him, he will be oversaturated with energy. But he must take the risk for everyone, for the villain is too strong. After Superman copes with the villain, he will no longer be golden. Henry says: “You could become a golden god if you wished. Superman looks at the Sun from Earth and says: “Maybe someday… but for now, it's too much of a burden for me. The series itself is epic and deserves such moments.

Thanks guys for Another cool reaction👍 It was a good episode, just these long breaks are really annoying, anyway I'm glad that they are trying to kinda redeem tal, and the good thing is that they aren't rushing it, adam Rayner is so good in the role, as always bitsie tulloch was great as lois, and oh god I love tyler as superman, I love him so much, every time I see him I realize he was the best choice for this superman, like there are these little moments that he shines, the scene where he said Kyle?! To lois was so adorable, classic clark kent 😊❤

Personally I liked more Tal Ro as a villain than Ally, can’t help to feel that something’s missing with Ally to make her a better villain. Don’t know if the story with Tal Ro was more engaging.

You could tell Lana was just pissed that Clark loved Lois more than he ever loved her and trusted her with his secret, it's just pathetic for the character

While I do understand where she is coming from, some of her actions are straight up retarded and stupid. Also her entire family is stupid, like... her daughter kisses some girl behind the back of Jonathan or Jordan whatever his name is, and that's it? She says sorry once, the boy gets angry (he had every right to be angry) then she lashes out at him for getting angry? And later Kyle tells her that he doesn't deserve her if he can't forgive her? As far as I care, kissing another man or a woman = cheating even if you feel guilty about it and tell it to your partner, YOU should be the one to make it up with your partner not the other way around. I hate the daughter more than Lana, at least Lana is a nice and likable person in general except a few scenes in which she is straight up retarded.

BIG NO! I hope he never gets his powers, his brother having power is enough, we don't need a 'super family' (cringe btw) like 'super friends' from that other shit show called Supergirl. Jon is similar to Lois, I hope he becomes more calm and collected going forward and depends on his smarts rather than strength. We already have enough characters with superpower, we don't need another character with superpower who will go save Superman every two episode (John Henry been doing that for a long time now.)

However I am conflicted on rather John should get powers I like his development without them but I would like to see them with them because he's someone who I know has a big heart and would be a good hero plus he is half Kryptonian so it wouldn't make sense for him to not get anything. I honestly wish that the powers where split down the middle between the two brothers like Jordan got the heat vision, super hearing and super strength, while John got the flight, x-ray vision, and freeze breath and both have super speed so basically the two of them equal one superman.

I think everyone is overthinking the secret.... when you become friends with someone, you don't automatically tell them everything about you, therefore you have "secrets" from everyone. ..... this forced drama is really giving me Smallville/CW vibes and I don't like it......

This was probably my least favorite episode of this series. The writing was... off. I could see if Lana felt hurt because her best friend didn't feel comfortable telling her his secret, but Lois knew and she didn't (which would swing back around to her point of him loving Lois enough to tell her but not Lana -- and it would also connect to Lana not feeling loved enough by the men in her life) but this angle feels.. strange? Why would she put the onus on Lois like that? And, so easily forgive Clark? I hate that. And, nobody can convince me to not hate that. Lana's choice at the end DID make sense, though. I sympathize with her. I loved the ditching with the siblings, but hated some of the writing in their scenes (which rarely happens with this show, so it was weird). But I do like that they're growing closer and they're giving Nat something more to do.

At times I hate this adaptation of Lois. She refused to tell Lana their secret but now that she hates her she is willing to tell her everything. If Lana shares with Sarah that Jordan has powers then that would be the biggest bitch move ever. That should be Jordan opportunity to share like he wanted to.

Too many breaks in this series. Starting to ruin it a bit. Also, Lana should chill a bit. Clark and Lois didn't even tell their own son's until they got back to Smallville and it was kept from them for their protection. They kept the secret to protect the ones they loved and that included Lana well before Clark met Lois. He kept the secret from her his entire life before ever knowing Lois. Is she going to be angry at Jordan and Johnathan next also for not telling her? She seemed more angry at Lois about keeping Clark's identity secret than she did at her own husband for keeping a mistress!

I must have missed it, but where were the mean texts that Jordan supposedly sent to Sarah? I paused it and the last 3 texts were from Sarah to Jordan and they weren't that nice, kinda sarcastic.
