The show runner said there’s two major big bads so maybe doomsday is later or he was just trying to trick us, either way that was awesome, when his mask was partly broken and u saw Superman seeing himself my first thought was “is that bizarro” then when he’s in the fortress with the backwards S, I was like they’re doing bizzarro
Bizarro will save Superman from Doomsday and say “Friend”, before they both die. It’s kind of the Death of Superman, but not. It will be the death of Bizarro.
Captain Luthor is John Henry Irons Morgan Edge is Tal-Rho “Doomsday” is Bizarro S&L never fails at plot twists and this is one of the few DC has pulled off.
Reminds me of the Captain Luther is John Henry Irons twist from last season. A complete surprise! This episode pulled it off again! What a Show! Not sure I’m going to love the Jonathan story though...lets see how it goes though....could turn out to be a setup of some kind. Thanks Chainsaw!
@@domingorubies656 Yeah that is what I was thinking. Maybe instead of just giving him powers it might jumpstart his kryptonion dna and give him his dormant kryptonion powers.
No one would have thought of Bizarro because he literally was never introduced that way in the comics. My theory is that the could have been a Luthor based lab under ground since Bizarro was engineered by Lex.
I had the same reactions as you, apart from crying throughout the episode, I was like "OH SHIT" and "WTF" and that ending, I was like clutching at my hair, on the edge of my seat, this episode was majorly intense, and literally screaming at the screen in shock and fear and just more shock 😱😱😱
I theorized Bizarro only after last week's episode because the pain was only affecting him and not any other Kryptonian like his brother or Jordan for that matter. I figured it might be because of some type of doppleganger effect like two magnets repelling each other kind of thing. To be fair, I didn't fully buy into my own theory because of the containment suit, but I love how this show takes what you know and tweaks it.
Yeah he says home at the end and also says leave me alone to Clark when they are fighting and the mask gets broken and Clark sees his face. Bizarro is speaking words backwards.
They both had some sorta vision at the same time and I think there is still something 'else' afoot that is affecting them both. I don't think it had anything to do with their proximity to each other. I could be wrong, but in any case, this is really, REALLY cool.
They got us again! Like with John Henry in Season 1, didn't even cross my mind that it could be anyone but Doomsday. However, as soon as Lois literally said the word "Doomsday", things became sus, and I like "That WAY too on the nose. Are they hoodwinking us again?" LOVE IT! And then we see his glowing blue eyes 😍 Show flipped everything on its head again (Like they did with the logo 😆) and things are going to get a lot more *BIZARRE!*
ummm. . .what?( Maybe bizzaro becomes doomsday). My guess is that since they both still have headaches it's actually doomsday as second half villian. We setting up death of superman. superman, steel, eradicator, bizarro and the three agent people.
Does anyone feel that Jonathan inhaling X-drug might react differently in his system being superman's son, his DNA isnt 100% human. What do you all think?
Kryptonian DNA and kryptonite don't get along very well. Probably X-K is going to be dangerous for Jon (right now I'm thinking about something like an allergic reaction)
Well Chainsaw, hats off to you! You said there would be a twist, and there was! Still wonder what kind of twists they have planned going forward. One interesting theory I read was that the cult lady is actually Granny Goodness in disguise!! Really interesting theory!
There have been some people speculating that the Ally Allston/Lucy Lane storyline may have been taken from that whole cult situation with Alison Mack from Smallville Also, keep in mind that the Lucy we met in Supergirl was a pre-crisis Lucy. Post-Crisis Lucy might have never been part of the military and was probably more of a hippie
I love the twists, makes this feel less like it's ripped from the comics, and more like it's an alternate universe we may see the comics interact with at some point. As someone who was hyper-strict as a kid for movies sticking to the comic books, age has definately made me appreciate going your own way.
I think we might get something similar to season one with morgan edge beign the eradicator we might be getting a combo of doomsday and bizzaro maybe bizzaro will digrade into beign more doomsday like at the ending maybe by then we will also get cyborg superman aswell
I love how they showed Jordan's powers getting stronger this season. I hope Jordan, Jonathan and Natalie can bond and become closer just like siblings. I hope Natalie can help Jordan with this rough time too and support him. I hope that Jordan, Jonathan, Clark/Superman, Jhon henry irons, Genral lane, Mitch Anderson-new D.O.D guy and with Lucy's help can create a plan to take down the villains. I think that Clark may be temporarily killed by bizzaro then his mother or Tal-rho can reserect him. I think that Lucy being in the cast and going to visit them will cause some turmoil because how will Lois and Clark explain Jordan's powers and Natalie comming from another Earth? If this Lucy is similar to the Lucy who played on supergirl then she will know Clark is superman and might know about the mulitiverse or different planets so it could be easier to explain but either way it will be hard. I think that the Cushing's will find out the Kent secret because with Natalie being there now to someone is bound to slip up and reveal it. Mabye Sarah comes to make amends with Jordan at the Kent home and bizarro attacks? I'm confused why Todd helbing confirmed Doomsday if this villain is "Bizarro". What I do know is that whoever this villain is this guy/another version of superman was effected when Clark got his visions too. Maybe he wasn't the only one in the mines??👤🤔 I think that Jonathan being on X-Kryptonite will awaken his abilities and cause his powers to manifest. He's half kryptonian so having kryponite in him will awaken his abilities and make him sick. I really love the season 2 so far:)
well for one he did confirmed doomsday was in this season so he could show up. todd also said lois is going to have her own villain this season too and i dont know if you watch batwoman but this part confuses me alittle bit on batwoman they found out dopplegangers cant live on the same earth anymore after the 3 earths merged togethers earth 1. black lightnings and supergirls . because alice and beth kane from earth 14 was getting headaches and about to die until the one from earth 14 was killed which would explain what happened between bizarro and superman because it looked like the same thing was happening but it still could be doomsday also however on supergirl a winn schott from earth 19 went to earth prime and winn schott came back from the future and they didnt get headaches which is the part that confuses me can someone try and explain that to me if they can please
@@Allbutnowhere i know after the pilot episode when jordan was revealed to have powers and not jonathan everyone was like i knew that was going to happen i knew jonathan was going to be normal and i was thinking to myself just because jonathan didnt get them at the same time doesnt man he wont in the future lol please let me know what you think
@@andrewvidmar3488 hmm. I definitely see that. Especially when we saw Jonathan with the football as kids…. I think with Jordan it “triggered” because he was already in a emotional state. Maybe Jonathan just needs the juice to kick start it

The subtitle for the final line according to the E04 preview reads "[speaking alien language]". Given it's Bizarro I'll go out on a limb and bet what he actually says is, "Mmoh", "Home" pronounced backwards.
I liked the episode, but I don’t like Sarah as much as I used to. Because she avoided him and admitted to screwing up on him, and then got sharp with him for being upset and didn’t act all that guilty about what she did in the end. Her mom’s ridiculous speech didn’t help either.
Absolutely agree. especially since in the previous episode you see Sarah smiling at her locker while she's texting someone, then hurriedly puts the phone away when Jordan approaches. I have no more interest in the Sarah character arc. Her character is just the CW CW-ing as usual. Will probably just skip forward over any Jordan/Sarah scenes in the future.
OMG!!! Who would’ve thought that it was Bizarro!!! This is amazing!!! Also, that woman who knocked out Steel, might become Rampage just like in the comics.
Jonathan using X-kryptonite might just give him powers with his alien DNA and maybe they'll use that to make Jon go dark. They certainly know how to surprise everybody.
I definitely believe that this version of Bizarro will somehow turn into Doomsday, it was a good twist but that containment suit was definitely so DoomsDay. Holding out hope still
I don't think the showrunner was just lying when he confirmed Doomsday. I think Bizarro is going to become Doomsday eventually, whether it's through some sort of mutation or gradual evolution. You don't go through so much effort to tease Doomsday just for a simple bait and switch. There are a few storylines where Doomsday is a clone of Superman (I think there was even a New 52 storyline where Superman himself turned into Doomsday). It makes a lot of sense from a writing and production standpoint. Doomsday is cool and iconic, but he's also kind of a one-note. All Doomsday really has going for him is sheer strength and an animalistic drive for destruction, and it's hard to write a compelling season's worth of storyline around that kind of character. Plus, it's hard to make Doomsday look consistently good without spunking the season's CGI budget. Bizarro is a similar character that has more opportunities for character depth and is cheaper to portray for how ever many episodes they want to use him. Then you can save the budget for Doomsday's full debut for the finale, where you can allocate more budget to make it look satisfying. By merging them, you get essentially the full benefit of both characters while softening the drawbacks considerably. I do love a good composite character.
I cannot believe how good the show is. I literally started watching last week and finished all the seasons. Also, how can they make it look so good? compared to all other CW shows it looks incredible. he feels super fast, strong and everything is on a world scale., compare that to how BAD Supergirl looked and lets be honest supergirl's story declined so much over the years too, I knew the show was over when Alex said in a fight "you can't touch without consent" ...thats how bad that show got. Thank you CW for Superman, its incredible.
I had a sneaky suspicion it was either going to be doomsday or bizarroAnd I must say bizarre looks pretty sick and the backwards thing in the back were Superman and Lois title was a nice little nod to bizarro
Pretty great twist there. Interesting how in the Pre-Crisis timeline on Earth-38 in Supergirl S1 it seemed that the clone of Supergirl is the first Bizarro, but now we are seeing the actual Bizarro on Earth-Prime in Superman & Lois S2.
@@herosjourney8725 it was still an adaptation of Bizarro Supergirl (who does exist in the comics) regardless. I'm just noting out the Arrowverse has now done two Bizarro versions of our Kryptonian heroes just like in the comics
I honestly think Superman and Lois is sneakily becoming one of the best shows the CW has to offer because to me it’s been better than the flash the last few seasons and the flash is my favorite TV show but I just have not enjoyed it the last couple seasons that much
Apparently people are now predicting he is a character called SuperDoom from a universe where Superman is Doomsday and travels the multiverse killing Superman.
I wonder if Lucy, somehow, knows that Clark is Superman and the cult leader is holding that over her? Maybe as blackmail to keep her in line and to recant her statements. It may make sense that Lucy was in deep with the cult that she may have told them everything…especially if she was actually brainwashed
I thought it was Doomsday, I never thought of Bizarro. They lied to us, but a great lie. I still thought it was him with containment suit but they tricked us well. This show is great, all 3 episodes this season are excellent and the show still continues to be best so far on cw. 👍👍👍👍
Do you feel like people would have reacted the same if it had been Jordan that kissed someone else? Like a product of that innate double standard we all have if were not careful?
Theory: Doomsday will be coming, but Superman and Bizarro will become “friends”. Doomsday will be ready to kill Superman, but Bizarro will sacrifice himself to destroy the monster. I hope so anyway. It would be poetic that Bizarro saves Superman from Doomsday, but dies himself.
Absolutely love this shows’ twists. It’s ‘ Doomsday ‘ but it’s really Bizarro Superman! Hopefully we see the real Doomsday in a future Season. This show should go for at least 5 seasons so we can see their take on Brainiac , Metallo , Parasite , etc.
While I'm glad it's not Doomsday, cause I do feel its still a bit early to tell that story. I like that it's Bizarro cause it gives it a bit of time to get the rest of the pieces into place so that they can do Doomsday someday. I mean we have Superboy with Jordan. Eradicator with Tal-Rho. Steel. All we need is a Cyborg Superman, then you can do Doomsday. Hoping that that's the route they go with Bizarro.
Superman and Lois really knows how to is think one thing when it is a totally different thing. Last season we thought Superman was getting attacked by a different lex Luthor. This year we thought it was doomsday but it was actually bizzaro
I don’t think Jonathan will use the drug on himself, they’ve shown him to be smart and crafty like Lois so that would be weird, I think he wants it to give it to Lois or Sam to examine
Huh? he got drunk in public. Snuck a Girl into his room. Disobeyed his mom about not going into the RV alone. Almost got Killed then turned around and went back in the RV and stole weapons.
When John Henry shot of the helmet at first I thought it was zod because in the cw supergirl show zod had blue eyes and he could become doomsday but wow what a twist
u know we should of realized its a superman doppelganger when he got vision headaches the same as those with doppelgangers in the other arrow verse shows
Also I may be evil because I would have been OK in that scene if Clark had fried Jordan. I have such a love/hate relationship with that character. He irritated me at the start of S1 then I really liked him but this episode he really really irritated me when I really liked him the first 2 eps. Other than that, I loved the episode.
I would have been ok if he fried Jonathan. He is the irritating one. Especially with his high pitch shrieking when he gets angry. Don’t see what Jordan did that irritated you other than be a stupid teenager thinking his first girlfriend is his future wife. It’s not like he started a fight and went to Buy drugs.
@@mcstacia I'm not sure I'd complain much if all the teens were fried by Clark ;) TBH most of the time I'm fine with the teen characters & find them likeable. With both Jordan & Sarah there have been a couple of incidents where they felt whiney and 'shouty'. I don't know if it's an acting or direction decision but it doesn't work for me. I think part of my problem is that while they are supposed to be playing 15 yr olds (and some of their dialogue feels like even younger) the actors for Jon, Jordan and Sarah are not 15, don't look at all 15, and that's what could be my issue. As I said, most of the time I enjoy the characters and this is a problem with a lot of shows and teen characters. Also I'm not the demographic they're trying to reach with the teens so maybe I don't get it. I'm very much invested in this show for Clark/Superman, Lois, John Henry etc stories
What I love about the show is Superman and his family and the lines it’s great. What I can’t stand are the side characters like Sarah, her family with the election it’s just filler and boring as shit. I wish they’d toss that out and just pop up once in a while and that’s it. I wish they’d do use heavily on the Kent family and their issues and the villains
