I love how halfway through the show, Lois goes "don't be going all doomsday on me". Had me fooled.

Holding out on my X-K, Bizarro theory!

The showrunner has been talking up Doomsday so I don't know why mention it all if they weren't gonna do some version of it. I have a feeling that Bizarro will become Doomsday by the end of the season via the X-K.

@@Omn1Media Probably. I'd have to look back at articles from the first season, but when people were questioning them about Luthor, they were kinda coy like he's different than you would think or some such. The showrunners are sneaky...and I'm all for it! 😂

@@Treblemaker1279 I remember all the season 1 stuff too. They were very dodgy back then about saying anything. The fact that he was a "Luthor" was an early leak if I remember right so they were dancing around answering any of that. With this they were just like hey we are doing OUR Doomsday which if that's the case, isn't really coy but just lying lol which is why I think it won't be a simple Bizarro either and maybe a combo of the two in some way.

@Saiful Islam could be possible but I feel like since he appeared in the classic containment suit ripped straight from the comics he will be Arrowverse version of Doomsday. Also makes sense as well since they are trying to give Tal Roh a redemption arc at some point, Jordan starting to use his powers more and Steel creating his new suit which will more than likely sport the S. Death of Superman right there

Yeah but to be fair, the showrunner said they were doing their own version of Doomsday for this season. They never openly discussed anything about the Irons/Luthor character for season 1. I expected some twist, but Bizarro wasn't on that list at all. I'm still thinking something will happen with him and the X-K and he'll evolve by the end of the season.

@@Omn1Media With all due respect to how many times I've heard this fact, can you point to an interview where he officially confirms it is Doomsday? I've seen an interview where he says they were inspired by a Doomday Comic cover but never actually said YES WE ARE DOING DOOMSDAY in this season.

@@Omn1Media I am still of two minds on this... EW could have misinterpreted again, because only he confirmed the Doomsday cover homage... not an actual line he says We are doing Doomsday. Or... they are turning Bizarro into a Doomsday amalgam or something which I am not a fan... I would rather they keep those characters separate

"Then in episode 2, you're going to see HIM a little bit more. In episode 3, you'll get the full reveal." "We take inspirations from the comics as much as possible, and then we try to twist it. We did the same thing here." If he meant anything other than Doomsday he shouldn't have followed that subject with Him but a new Subject. Season 1 already combined a bunch of characters to create Tal-Rho (The Eradicator, Morgan Edge, and H-El) so it doesn't seem like much of stretch they will do it again. It's too early for it to purely be Bizarro. Even the JHI, reveal wasn't until almost the mid-season.

Uh no, Krypton did a very nice portrayal of Doomsday, so it can be done well on tv.

That could be explained as the visions affecting Clark keep weakening him, and Jonathan caught him in the chin while he was weakened. ORRRRRR this is another thing to add to the list of things Jonathan has done and survived that a normal human wouldn't be able to. They keep teasing little small things with him here and there. Season 1 there was when he was a kid and threw the football and broke the tire swing. Then he blocked Jordan's super punch and walked away with a broken arm....which healed very quickly. In the episode where John Henry reveals himself and is trying to kill Superman, John explains that the only way to lift his hammer is via his tech or having the power of Superman. And what's Jonathan do when Clark and Jordan are incapacitated from the red sun rays? He drags that hammer, lifts it and smashes the lights. Then the car accident where again, broken arm that healed really quickly. And now in season 2, he punched Clark and knocked him down. I think he is mostly human like Lois, but every now and then he has bursts of power like Clark and Jordan have. Either way, they are being really clever with these little hints

I know it all went by pretty fast and maybe it was just the way the shots were cut together but to me it seemed to be a little ‘disconnect’ between when he clipped Clark and Clark falling down. I think it maybe took him a second to comprehend that his own son had hit him and what’s more, he’s surrounded by onlookers so he had to appear more injured.

He was definitely definitely playing around, jonathan threw a strong right hook if he just stood there and didn't react it would've looked suspicious.

They never mentioned him being a Luthor in interviews in season 1. They talked about Doomsday specifically in interviews for this season. I still think Doomsday is coming and it's going to be through Bizarro. If not, I'm not upset, I would actually prefer they stay away from Doomsday. But they've been laying the seeds since season 1 for his return.

@@Omn1Media With John Henry the Actor posted pictures to his room on Set and the sign said Alex Luthor. So they did it an a way. We will see what they do and I can't wait for the break to be over

Like I said, the showrunner said this season they were doing their own version of Doomsday. I'm fully aware that what we see at the end is Bizarro but I don't think it's gonna be as straight forward as that for the rest of the season.

In this case He comes onto prime earth already infected and turns into Doomsday eventually? Love your reactions btw!

There is still all that X Kryptonite in the mines, maybe he will absorb it and that will become his spines? Given that generally, Bizarro has the opposite reactions to Kryptonite than Clark. So maybe since X-K gives Kryptonian powers to non-kryptonians and does nothing to Kryptonians, it will instead enhance his existing powers further.

It's an expression, that when you see the end of the world. And yes technically they fought Doomsday but with Crisis, this is a different earth.

I have a theory that because Bizarro traditionally reacts to Kryptonite in an opposite fashion to regular Kryptonians, he will actually be reactive to X-Kryptonite. We know it does nothing to Kryptonians and instead gives Kryptonian powers to non-kryptonians. So what if he re-enters the mine at one point without the containment suit and Aborbs the X-K, the crystals becoming the spines we associate with Doomsday and he becomes juiced and mutates from them.

Regarding this season, there is an interview with the Showrunner who was clearing discussing Doomsday. In regards to my comments about season 1, Tal-Rho is the combination of 3 separate characters from the comics...Eradicator, Morgan Edge, and H-El.
