This is a sad example of what it’s like to be a superhero. You do your very best to help someone, good or bad, but you just can’t save them all. Unfortunately, this is one of those times.
Henry Cavill's Superman: Let the citizens be collateral damage, makes out with Lois on the wasteland that used to be Metropolis while thousands are probably still trapped and dying then kills his enemy without trying another way. Tyler Hoechlin's Superman: Rescues the civilians that are in danger, comforts a dying enemy, makes sure everyone is safe from her as she explodes, then brings her body back and tenderly delivers her final words to her criminal husband and her son. It amazes me that people think Henry's Superman is the best when Tyler just keeps delivering the perfect blend of a modern Superman and classic Superman.
Lol right bc Henry’s Superman saved children from drowning, the men from the oil rig, protects the soldiers and people in Smallville and then protects Earth from the workd engines and the family that is gonna be burned alive by Zod heat vision…but you’re right Henry’s Superman doesn’t save people and act like Superman😂🤨😑
@@vietnameeseguy and when Zod turns Metropolis into a wasteland, does he go looking for survivors? No, he makes out with Lois? When he fights Zod, does he lead him away from the citizens? Nope.
@@Trikeboy2 I don’t Tyler’s superman has acted anything like his character from the comics , he’s a farm boy raised by the John Wayne of the dc universe, to quotas Henry’s superman “ as American as it gets “ , i was born in 2005 but being raised watching superman those ideals of truth justice and the American way mean a lot to me , I think it was really pathetic how Tyler’s superman refused to mention the American way in any shape or form , superman as a character is supposed to endure the rest not changing what makes him him despite the ever present long march of time , it’s why kingdom come is one my favourite superman comics ever it perfectly conveys supermans resolve , that however decadent the mordern age may be , the ideals he stands for can never be destroyed
From what I understood, Bruno Mannheim was villain because he wanted to save his wife. Peia was villain so she could get the treatment. How are they villains again? At least Superman helped at the end. You can see it in Bruno’s eyes. Poor guy.
