There’s a big misconception that Superman One Million created a universe and brought Lois Lane back to life. That wasn’t him who did that. That was Hour Man
@@CerealExperimentsMizuki "Lzyzm Ltpkz, the Superman of the fifth dimension, took the D.N.A. sample I saved from Solaris and, together, they turned it inside out through time until it became a woman." Taken straight from the comic panel were talking about. .-.
If I may, I'd like to give a theory about what power, if any, Superman gave to the Batman of the future. I think Superman gave him either peak deductive skills, allowing him to embrace the detective part of Batman, or just general super intelligence. Let's face it, it may not be considered a super power, but Batman's crazy high intelligence absolutely is.
For anyone that is wondering why Superman One Million didn't resurrect after being killed It's because he was killed by a Demon Lord that was the Embodiment of Unstoppable Destructive Force (that by the way also already consumed Hell and most of The Cosmic Energies/Beings) and had his Soul consumed before he could resurrect By the way that event was also (supposed to have been) cancelled by Time Traveling Shenanigans so Superman One Million is still alive (or for better say never died, because it was cancelled like it never happened)
All-Star Superman is my favorite Superman story. It is everything I love about him, and it’s cool to see the continuation of that story get talked about more.
I have to agree with you. I just think the instances where he dies/get rolled into the dust are just "For the fan service and sake of plot". Shame people ruins character for their lil stories.
If you look back throughout history it’s very clear that fiction matters a lot to us, it might seem silly, but don’t feel like a fool for finding hope in a golden Superman, finding hope is the whole point :). It doesn’t matter where you got it from
I’d like to see a story of the Clark who also gained the powers of dr. Manhattan after spending a million years inside the hottest star in the multiverse and traveling the multiverse collecting more and more powers and abilities. Would be insane. So powerful it would be difficult to even describe it.
That version of supes was really a variant of captain atom but was just his planets most powerful being, like the shazam from a different earth that helped gather other supermen.
you should read the manga Origin if you want a sequence of exponential power scaling, its a sci fi about a humanoid robot that becomes insanely powerful because of his lack of human limitations
@@fnytnqsladcgqlefzcqxlzlcgj9220 Then they all meet at a bar at the end of the universe. Talk about one powerful club in that bar. Insane. Especially the bartender. 😂
@@SSSmkin- yeah Post Crisis and Pre Crisis Superman are easily on the Universe+ to Multiversal levels of power which holding back. But Prime 1Mil just doesn't have any feats that put him above Multi Solar system+ and his scaling isn't from the regular Post Crisis and a much weaker variant in its own Universe.
Thank you for sharing with us all these amazing comic stories. Believe me, being able to see them and see the story play out with characters we like really helps us or at last me to keep on pushing forward, just like , any of these characters. Blessings.
I know a messily little comment like this might mean nothing in the grand scheme of things, but I want you to know that you’ve accomplished what you’ve set out to do. You’ve made people happy. You’ve made me happy. Thanks for making these vids man.
I would have liked to see him presented in a similar way to God Emperor Leto II in Dune, showing that ultimate power does not lead to ultimate happiness, because it just makes one aware of the impossibility of making a perfect choice, always confronted with the full extent of the negative outcomes attached to the decisions necessary to achieve one's otherwise noble aims.
Superman 1 Million, in the story, was not killed. He was defeated and fell back into the sun. The bad guy even said he would probably heal but over such a length of time he would not be around to help the future Justice Leagues. I think we have not seen him since because he is kind of a hard character to write. He is basically a problem solver if you want to go all out at how awesome the writer thinks he might be or be used like Worf in Start Trek. Basically appear only to be defeated to show how powerfull whatever villian they were using was.... just like they did in the future event comic.
Your one of my favorite RU-vidrs bro, everytime you post just brightens my day. I always have a video to watch after practice and to that I say thank you:)
Superman 1 million is the dopest skin in multiverses. Between the all gold look and supes monster moveset it feels like you're the most powerful thing walking.
Honestly the last few sentences you said and i know you may not see this resonated with me. I've never been a huge superman person or "Mr. Incincible guy except for that one thing" but you've made it click. I haven't had many things to keep me going and i attemped a few days ago but learning about this story made it all click. Even if i had nigh invincibility with super strength or flight everything inside would still hurt but superman keeps going just because its the good thing. Even if ive lost so much and have little hope i still have things and i still have a little hope and thats all i need. Thank you you've truly helped me.
Yes I just hate him as a person, anyone with God-like powers has the ability to literally shape the world and he has a dayjob that's not taking advantage of his unique abilities Like if Stephen Hawking decided to work in Walmart wasting his mind To be fair, journalism is super important and idk
@@hannahlistento100EAT Well that's a good point, it has a hole in it. If Stephen Hawking decided to work at Walmart, then we would have never known him to begin with. He would just be a Walmart employee. Let's say Superman ONLY worked as Clark Kent. a news reporter. Nobody would know him as Superman, he would just be "That news reporter guy". a total waste of his abilities when compared to saving the world.
@@-_Atomix_- the fact someone with superspeed spends even seconds doing stuff other than saving people means hundreds or thousands of people will die while Superman is off playing Clark Kent. Everyone in the world knows Superman, very few know Clark Kent. There is a philosophical argument that by living as Clark, Superman is being horribly evil
I hate most dc heroes based off the fact that the comics writers insistence that if batman or superman ever killed a villain they'd become ruthless tyrants which is such a cringy fucking reason to give them a no kill policy. There's so many people superman and batman have indirectly killed in their insanity clinging onto a virtuous "no kill policy" because it's the one distinction they have between being a hero and being a world ruler it's fucking stupid IMO.
@@hannahlistento100EAT it's the obligation humanity places on special beings or people to achieve something more than themselves because they are special. It causes a lot of tragic geniuses or anti heroes
Loved this video mate. Ive subbed because i had never heard of superman 1million. Thank god for comic readers and youtube, able to digest the storylines down for nonreaders. May the gods of all realms, and the god of gods, keep you blessed, safe , and happy.
Yo you do make a difference. When I feel low I like to look into stories of superheros. As long as there are hero’s and you telling stories you will be helping people with sadness or something.
All star superman is in my top five favorites. It made me like superman. It's seriously so so so good. Best artist with a good writer just doing good stuff in a call back to the silver age silliness. It actually helped me out too in a hard point in my life. Just such a hopeful story.
you're making your dream come true with every mote of effort you put into these videos, mullet man. i also just want to make people happy. may superman one million live in us both.
Thank you for this video. I am an aspiring creator. I love to draw and I have been working on my art skills for years now. Lately I haven't really been feeling all that confident with my art work. I go on long hiatuses and I haven't been all that motivated. But this video has inspired me to get back at it. I don't know if it's seasonal depression but I've been feeling down from time to time lately. This video reminds me of why I love to create and why I would like to continue to create.
Deep and incredibly inspiring. Crazy how comics can write in the realities of human experience while also making it fantastical that it doesnt bore you. The message of Superman perservering is so tragic yet feels so real at the same time. Maybe that is truly why he is the strongest of the Supermen/women, physically sure but also mentally and emotionally as well.
I could not of said it myself and am amazed on how he explained it's not about the power but the inspiration and reason people get up every day and never give up! Honestly this guy should be an author or narrator like damn!! Love it.
