I'll never accept that ending for Routh's Superman, that is supposed to be Christopher Reeve - THE SUPERMAN. I don't accept any of the Crisis story line, it just isn't acceptable. Didn't like to see Smallville's superman wear blue Kryptonite, either. I truly like Routh as Superman. He played the tragic hero from Krypton very well.. the story of Superman Returns was well thought out. The decision to leave earth and check on Krypton's ultimate fate destroyed his relationship with Lois and he missed his son's birth and infancy. It was a flawed decision and drove home his vulnerable nature as a man of two worlds. ... I don't like the Arrowverse, generally, really, don't, though, I like the recent "Superman and Lois" tv show and have bought seasons 1 and 2. It has its flaws but there are enough good moments to make it worth owning.
