They shouldnt have even won against Batman. Almost none of them should've survived the fear toxin, Harley was repeatedly one shotted by this Batman, and this Batman also beat King Shark while fighting the rest of the squad, who also had help from Killer Frost and Black Spider during the fight.

Superman is my favorite superhero. So sick of the evil Superman gimmick. In other media it's fine but in DC it's exhausting. He was done the dirtiest too. Nothing done with the first traditional superhero.
It’s so tiring how casually DC disrespects him. Then they wonder why his popularity has dwindled over the years. Then again this game was being made during the old regime’s reign of terror. Maybe with the new focus he seems to be getting now, this shit can finally stop. Maybe get a good game out of the deal after so long.

I thinks it's cause the common perception is that superman is a boring boyscout, and because of the stereotype no one wants to get to know the character. To remedy this, WB and DC think it best to just make him evil in every other new appearance to make him seem more interesting to the masses who normally don't care for the character.
I feel if they did something like a quick time event the deaths of heroes would be much better. It wouldn't be like "oh no, i got the 975 bullet and i must die now"
Or if they actually had interesting Boss fights that somewhat deviated from the base gameplay. Instead of Arenas they should've essintially had scenes that you fight them through specifically for Flash and Superman. Most certainly though their deaths should've been actually impactful regardless of the universe or character's we're essentially killing of Earth's greatest protectors while reducing Braniacs numbers also making the situation more hopeless...At no point in this game does it feel like the squad has no chance against the JLA or Braniac. They're hardly the underdogs unless it's a cutscene and it's ridicolous.
QuickTime events are gay, never had one and thought "wow I'm glad that QuickTime event was there, very enjoyable" but they definitely could've handled this game and the hero deaths with a lot more grace.

I like how king shark is supposed to be Toetotoe with Superman in the marketing of the game. But he doesn't even die to shark like in a cut scene or in an epic clash. He just dies by a magazine of bullets
So the fatestest man alive got beaten by slow moving bullet, Green Lantern got defeated by yellow Bullet, and Batman got defeated since he copy scarecrow stage and got gun downed.
Shame. Gameplay does seem fun but - unlimited banter - teammates somehow all have grappling hooks, teleports and jetpacks but are superglued to the ground - sfx quality is all over the place...or sometimes just inexistant
Yeah you kinda undersell it lol. Concept was solid enough but the execution was considerably lacking. Probably would have had a chance if it wasn't a live action looters shooter

If you grew up with DC cartoons like JLU his character had plenty of moments where he showed different ranges of emotion, had flaws, and made plenty of mistakes and was quick to make judgments without proper evidence. He was never some Holieu than thou Jesus figure like people claim. Sometimes he made the wrong call, and there were enemies he couldn't beat by himself. He was powerful and noble, but human despite his alien nature. People who say Superman is one dimensional only ever see clips of Christopher Reeves doing overpowered bs or listen to Death Battle talk about how powerful he is without knowing about his actual character.
To be fair, they are using gold kryptonite that really weakens him, so supers has to limit himself to fight them from afar, and that's what he does in the boss fight. From what I remember, Superman's eye laser have always been dodgeable either way.

There is something completely wrong with how Dc treat their characters, 90% cares only about batman and no other dc hero,meanwhile even if spider-man is more popular than other marvel characters there is balance, avengers and x men are all popular, there is no such difference. Like almost everything revolves around batman, marvel doesnt do the same thing with spidey. It's time they make shine characters who have no connection to bats

They only care about poor batman who got killed, when he still had more boss fight than everyone, more screentime, give everyone a team speech and even had final words, when most of the other leaguers were treated so much worse, but they dont care about them. This is mostly wb and dc fault, when your content is one sided of course everyone will root for only one of your characters.

Things like The Killing Joke, understandably, made him popular among fans, and so when it comes time for DC to invest in other media of COURSE they bank on Batman primarily, or other artists get more inspiration for the guy with all of the cool content circling around him. But in doing so all that’s happened is the others have fallen even further behind in the public eye, because now not only does Batman have that content he’s getting MORE of it while the others get squeezed out, and it’s honestly sad, because if you ask me Superman being turned into yet another evil superman before being offed like this is even MORE insulting to his character than even Batman because of how it’s almost becoming the norm for him. Superman is literally a buffed version of Omni man with laxer vision along with the chilling breath. Bullets of all things to take him down? He can literally punch them through the chest once and be done. Like they’re gonna track this fucking guy who can use gravity to his advantage. Game is a full blown mockery of the justice league
This fight looks absolutely boring to play through. On top of the boring boss mechanics and arena Superman just seems to never stop talking without ever actually saying anything interesting the entire fight.
Does Brainiac's control make Superman stupid? He would have smashed the ground they were standing on multiple times before they could even touched the ground again.
oddly enough, besides batmans fight that I found to be the only interesting one, its funny as hell to be that braniacs flash fight was much better than the flash himself lmao. That fight is how the bosses shoulda felt, more hectic, getting more use out of your kit and etc. The big fights in themselves all were lack luster. Game focused way too hard on Braniac controlling the league that it forgot we are literally killing some of the strongest beings on the damn planet.
Its actually tragic. I love the concept of this game but it was handled so poorly. I dont think they should have set it in the Arkahm universe and it should have been its own thing. The actors killed it and the game looks great and the game play can be fun but it is clear that it is rushed and the story goes in some weird ways. I dont think they could have just let batman be killed and it be respectful they would have had to do something else with him. like I dont know he could get cured and sacrifice himself, I mean that would be better than what they did. Its just so sad. Also why do the deaths feel so pathetic and why do they have superman do and say barley anything before killing him. he doesn't even get an epic death non of them do its just like they flop over on the ground after you have shot them enough.

The premise of this fight alone exposes just how broken “Kill The Justice League” idea was from inception. This brainwashed Superman isn’t a mindless automaton but rather was converted to an explicitly evil sadist indicated by both his actions & dialogue where he gleefully participates in unnecessary violence. If he’s so far gone that he’d get off on taunting & verbally threatening the Squad, you’d think that he’d use every ounce of his power to completely disintegrate the team in seconds before they can continue to threaten the plans of his new messiah Braniac. Okay so TFX has super special Kryptonite on their bodies and weapons. I’d think the first response to such a development would be for Superman to pick up Metropolis Stadium & simply pitch it like a fastball at TFX from the other end of the city & that’s problem solved. Like when all of the evil League members have no qualms slaughtering average citizens wholesale but in the face of the Suicide Squad, who explicitly want to get in the way of their plans, they suddenly decide to give them a sporting chance via extended boss fights, the entire situation can only come across as completely contrived & thus completely absent of any weight or stakes or drama.

@@redninja3056 I’m fully aware but the even the game bio of the male characters shows toxic masculinity and the only person who had a memorable death is WW, batman gets killed by Harley out of all people, Superman just gets swatted out of the air like a fly, and the flash literally gets pissed on by boomerang. So I am grow up by this term just we’re so passionate about these characters that we grew up with all of our lives just to get disrespected but only WW gets a good ending just shows the culture shift today. This has no place to be in video games leave that for the news and congress that’s why we’re mad as a community
This game was just meant to be a original idea i get people won't like the live service aspect but besides that story wise it's pretty solid and refreshing seeing heroes actually die or be evil for a change especially well known ones
