I hope we see more of these! There is one episode I would really like to see! I don’t remember the year or the contestants, BUT, I do remember where the $5000 was hidden and the team won it.
This one shows why you don't get cans of beans to start the sweep. Still, it was a close contest. I expected the winning team to do better in the chase for 5k.
I've always wondered if the best strategy for the Big Sweep would've been to go after smaller but expensive items instead of the giant hams and diapers and laundry detergent that are harder to lift and take up so much space. Just take 5 of every item in the medicine aisle and that would add up super quickly.
It's not just the show that isn't the same, but the vibe, host, time period, graphics, music, and energy that made the original what it was, just can't be recaptured.
