Matt you probably already know this because your job is an editor but you didn't explain it. When the video is impossible to sync up it's because the video is set as a variable frame rate (the frame rate of the video is constantly changing). A solution I use for this is running the video through Handbrake and setting to not be a variable frame rate somewhere in the settings its pretty easy to find. Then when you throw the video back into an editing software it should sync up properly and consistently through the video.

They always make filming Power Hour seem like such a strict thing.

I honestly wished there was more editing in GG, sometimes it just takes so long for Arin to do something that Dan says we should cut this or fastforward, but Arin would rather it keep going, now some might like that i understand its a subjective thing but my opinion is its not that enjoyable to watch and sometimes there's dead air during the gameplay (slow commentary, minor pauses of them trying to drum up a conversation topic or waiting to think of joke) that isn't enjoyable to listen/watch either.

I actually really liked hearing Matt talk about what it's like for them to edit for Game Grumps. I'm also super happy Arin gave em this opportunity because even though it took away time they could have devoted to SuperMega for a few years it gave them some financial stability they were able to pay rent and eventually even get their own places. And now they are finally able to go full time SuperMega and are trying to get an office of their own! I'm so proud of our good christian boys!!

Cali Native... Ya, we really don't seem to grasp that rain comes back yearly. And what's even weirder, I have observed we only remember for a period of 2 weeks. If another rain hits us more than 2 weeks later, we get another day of accidents. Here in the Bay Area, a new rain will often kill somebody, and cause at least a half dozen major crashes.

When people say you don't edit well, or enough, or whatever, it's not necessarily that it's not cut well or sound mixed or that basic-level stuff (as much. although slip ups happen, I don't really care. Sometimes they're funny. Let's not forget "some tokens"). For me, at least, I had thought of you as a downgrade from say, Barry or Kevin (number 1 & 2 editors respectively), it's because of the cut-ins. The jokes. The text. The snarky comments. "Barry, put up a wolfjob", "Barry, get Bill Nye on the horn" proceded by just that. Bill nye turning into this whole animated section of the video. Basically the constant, indirect conversation between the editor, and the grumps. One that I think you did well was with Zelda BotW, with the master sword being drawn to a deep fried remix of all-star. It made that otherwise vanilla moment very unique. I, and I think many others, miss those. I do, (now) forgive you since I know how busy you are and how much extra work those edits and practical animations are, but that's not to say I still don't wish that they weren't as present and apparent in episodes. Another thing: Barry is yellow text. Kevin is blue text. That is established. People know it. Do they know your text? Did you even change it from a game-grumps default yellow, or orange? I mean, it's not your fault. I'm sure Arin and Dan ask less of you in the runtime of videos because they know you're already editing a lot and don't want to just add to your load. The editors of grumps, before you, were their own characters, like the sassy Barry, or the smooth Kevin. If GG has decided that's not the direction they want to take, fine, but that's what I miss about The Editor of grump's past. So, there's the issue I have with your editing of grumps, and why it isn't top-tier, but at the same time understandable and forgiven. Do whatever you feel is right.
